"Jesica I like your fabrics... looks like you might have to make your photo a bit smaller" Ummm thats my fault, poor Jessica, I decided to 'help' her out and put the image into the post, I just changed it to a clickable thumbnail for her. I also downloaded, uploaded and posted the picture of the quilt from the free pattern site, I put it in the original post.

Has anyone heard from Jessica? I know she was having computer troubles, jessica, Jessica pcangst where are you, pcangst pcangst pcangst let her on the forum you rotten computer!!!!!

Okay, Girls, Golo talked me into this...not really... I am going to try a quilt along table topper Americana style. Hopefully,we will finish before Independence Day Celebrations....
The pattern is free. It is at www.freepatterns.com then click on quilting>speical occasions> patriotic. The pattern is the rotating star
It is a walhanging, but can be used as a table topper with a center piece.
If anyone is interested contact me.
jessilynnknowles@yahoo.com or just post here.
This calls for templates, but since it is the friendship star we might have an easier way to do it.

Let me know girls!!!!

This is the quilt featured on the free pattern site

I gave up. I was told no flowers. Ya, what ever. I bought five more different designs one yd each and one has flowers. Ok, they were married back in Nov 2008. As you can tell, I am not prompt.
Now this couple is expecting a baby in Dec. I am not saying a thing. When I get a quilt done, fine. If not no one will be hurt.

My son's wedding quilt: he doesn't get one from me. My stepmother stated yrs ago she made one. So, we will be. Besides, he gave me tons of t-shirts for a t-shirt quilt. Tells me for get the wedding quilt and work on mine!

I printed this and I know I can do it.. may not be patriotic though I don't have much of that but I will see what else I can do .. maybe christmas related.. nice gold stars.. I hope that is okay.. I have new Quilt Hangers my Dad made me and I love them it would be a perfect size to use for one of them to hang on..
Thanks for bringing this forward.. love the pattern and i know I can whip this up.. mind you not as fast as our GOLO can but will try. I think I will make a secondary quilt with the itty bitty triangle corners that we have to cut off.. hmmmmmmm I can't wait to get home and sew!!
Wish I could bring my machine to work.. I think I will open up a motel... Thumbup
