I hope it comes Monday! I do I do!!!

Me, too, Linda - but remember the deadline to MAIL is the 31st... It's amazing that as patient as quilters have to be while creating a quilt, we're really quite a bunch of babies when it comes to waiting for the good stuff to arrive! lmao lmao

So, we are all going to post our show -n- tell only after everyone has received their quilt, right? It would be wonderful to see the quilts 'in action' - at least those that are already hung up in their place of honour!

I posted 2 pics of the wallhanging on the Mini Quilt gallery. I got it from Princess Kris and absolutely love it. Posted a second pic to show how nice it fits in with the Sunflower borders. Once again thank you Kris, it has a permanent home on the kitchen wall. jessie s

Got a nice squishy package in mail today. My mini is here! Whoopee!

Helen, I had no idea you had my name. Shocked Shocked Shocked I thought Deb did!

I have been admiring your honey bee mini since you posted it and thought, "someone is going to be very happy to receive this." That's ME!!! And it has come from the edge of the world, Tasmania! Wait till DH sees it tonight! I love it! Thank you very, very, very much. You are so creative and your quilts are lovely. I enjoy reading about your family trips, homelife, etc. You share a little part about yourself and your country with us.

I am tickled pink! Are we supposed to say who had our name? Well, too late if we are not. Mamu had mine and she made the most wonderful applique mini you ever saw. I am not much of an appliquer so i am terribly, terrifically impressed with that mini! Pics to follow as soon as the battery is charged up. LOL OHH I LOVE THAT MINI!!!!!!!!!

Oh Anita and Golo Im so sorry your parcels havent arrived yet. They cant be far away. Is anyone else still waiting? I know Deb will be.

Karen Im so glad your parcel arrived safe and sound, it was a pleasure to make it for you, you said once you had lots of floral fabrics and like flowers, it gave me the idea. I had fun making it for you and it was worked on all over the island, I took it to hobart the state capital down south with me and did the binding, I did hand quilting on it in Launceston to the east and also to the far west coast. I literally worked on hand quilting it sitting at a place that is called Edge Of The World. Its been stitched on in national parks, at cradle mt, driving along the coast and through the mountains. Its travelled with us all over and finally its found its way to its new home! Its been a long time since I was in Florida, not sure what area you are in but Im glad you mini arrived Hug

Gimpy. I live in SW Florida about 45 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico. Where it is hot and humid for many months of the year. Looking forward to cooler weather which usually begins in a small way Mid-October.

I treasure the mini that you so kindly crafted just for me. It is quite a well traveled piece! Not just from Tasmania to me but all around Tasmania too! I love making mini's because they [u] are so portable. This has been a fun swap and full of surprises.

I'm zoning out in front of the puter, so I tried to figure out who got whose name :hammer:

From what I can figure we have either 3 or 5 people who haven't gotten their minis yet (or haven't had a chance to post thanks yet). I'm one. cry2

On the bright side, I'm really bonding with my mail carrier! :gift1:

All the mini's just look gorgeous don't they? I got mine from Linda2B and someone did post a pic. Thank you. My colors are just perfect too! PURPLES & CREAM. :yahoo: I absolutly love it. I'm going to be sending her a little something special soon.

I do hope we do another one of these mini's again. And soon! I never thought I'd love doing one, but I sure did. Thanks for taking me out of my comfort zone quilt sisters.

Hugs to each and every one of you! hug08

memaw.. this group is great in getting us to go a step further.. I have been fortunate to be able to create a couple of quilts just from blocks and swaps and also Round robins and row robins.. they have all been great fun and in the end very worth the effort...

If anyone would like to coordinate the next mini swap please be my guest. I will have to sit this one out. I have nother mini to make by Sept 21 and also in the mug/hug swap and also involved in a guild office and OES office so for the rest of the year my hands are busy..busy busy...if you need to ask questions on how to or what to do please let me know by PM'ing me or any of the moderators we are all pretty knowledgeable.. it is another great way to step out further by being involved and volunteering to coordinate one of these events..
