Golo's Imitation Crab Salad

1 C rotini macaroni twists - cook and chill
1 C celery chunks
2 C imitation crab (flaked)
1 Tablespoon diced onion
1/2 C salad dressing
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/3 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 meduium cubed apple (optional)
Mix it all together and refrigerate

I make this every year for my xmas buffet...... the guys love it..

Golo's Shrimp Salad

1 box macaroni rings (cooked as directed and chill)
1 C celery
1/4 c green pepper chopped
1 can rinsed shrimp or bag of frozen salad shrimp
2 1/4 c Miracle Whip (salad dressing)
1 Tablespoon mustard
1/4 tsp vinegar
2 T chives
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 T sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 sm. onion chopped small

Mix all together and refrigerate

Another dish for the Christmas buffet.... nummmmy

Maggie's Seafood Casserole

1/2 cup butter
1 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 tablespoon flour
1 1/2 cup blend cream
1 lb. fish ( I use cod )
1 can shrimp ( I also use the frozen shrimp )
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1 can mushrooms (drained )
3 potatoes sliced

Melt butter and add onions. Cook till onions are soft. Stir in flour, add cream, return to heat. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Put cod and shrimp in a buttered cass

Schnookie's Apricot Glazed Shrimp Kabobs

Yields 4 servings

These tasty shrimp and pineapple kabobs are great served over a tossed salad.


1 1/2 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cup fresh diced pineapple
1/3 cup sugar free apricot jam
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp minced garlic (bottled or fresh)
1 tsp sesame oil (dark)


1 Using 8 twelve-inch metal skewers, alternately thread shrimp and fresh pineapple.
2 Preheat broiler.
3 In a medium bowl, add apricot spread (cutting any chunks), rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and oil; stir well.
4 Brush kabobs with apricot mixture and place on a broiler pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Broil 3 minutes, turn, brush with mixture and continue broiling until shrimp are pink, about 3 more minutes.
5 Brush mixture on one more time before serving.

We have done this on the BBQ too and it is Great!
