Ann, I've been meaning to tell you, your blog is already shaping up to be one of the 'better' ones out there. Your posts are informative and entertaining - it doesn't appear that you're doing this halfway, like so many of us do.

If you can stick with it, you'll probably end up with quite the following and people will count your blog as a very useful resource.

FiberBabble. I see you are a Prey novel follower. I just read Invisible Prey and am waiting for the paperback of Phantom Prey to get in at Half Price Books.

Luvs...I don't know how you feel about used books but I have had great success buying used books online through Amazon...only gripe is it takes sometimes 7 - 14 days to get the book.

I use my libraries a lot, but I'm also quite active with PaperbackSwap.com - trading books for only the cost of postage.

- and yes, I do like the Prey books a lot! clap

I usually buy enough at Half Price Books, that I have plenty to read until the one I want comes in. However, Amazon is really a better option. My son buys a lot of books online. He's a whiz at it. He buys and sells textbooks for his fiance who is going to nursing school. He did that in college quite a bit. Buying and selling online was a better option than the used books at the college he went to and he went to a HUGE school. Something like 40-50,000 students.

I checked out Amazon and they have just what I want. I think I may do that. I have 3 I want, so that always works well.

I checked on another John Sanford Prey novel that I know I've already read, but can't remember it at all. I can start over and re-read them all. Advantages of senior moments. lol!

Here are two projects I just finished from the painted quilt blogspot that Betweens posted up above. I am going to frame this first one with barn wood for DD for Xmas and there are two more to go with the mouse one....
