Golo, "Butch" is so cute. Great job!

Finished "xxxxxx's" pin cushion tonight and, like Calico Chris, I need to find a box for mailing it to her. May go in mail tomorrow or at least by Monday. This was fun.

I love it! Now I'm getting nervous. How can I even begin to make something that cute? I better get to looking at ALL my patterns and come up with something different.
I do have a package I'm going to open right now. I think it might be my pincushion..........I'll let you know.

Cute pin cushion Golo!

I can't find the fabric I'm going to use. It's gotta be somewhere in the mess of a room scratch

I'll stop by the post office today on my way home from work to get mine in the mail!

Yesterday I never made it out of my house....just as I was going out the door to work I remembered I forgot to take chicken out for dinner. So I go down the basement stairs to the freezer and step on wet carpet :affraid: . Turned out the sewer backed up so I spent yesterday dealing with the City to get the sewer line fixed (turned out to be tree roots from my trees and the Cities.) and the insurance company. By 7 last night the clean up crew from the insurance company had all the carpet removed and half of one of the walls. Now there are fans and a dehumifier running down there for 3 days.

Jem, I am so sorry for your mess. Ewwww! Right after my mother died, a hurricane blew out the electricity to our fair city and her condo. She was on the first floor and the upstairs residents did not realize that when they flushed their toilets, it would end up in my mother's shower stalls and toilets since the lift station was not working without the electricity. I was so glad that my mother had died a short time before that happened. Otherwise she would not have been able to handle it. What mess to get cleaned up. Her insurance would not pay for it as it was caused by nature! ERRRGGG! anyway....

Hope things get back to normal for you soon. :)

Jen....so sorry to hear of your mess! We went through the fans/humidifier with a water damage insurance crew last summer....boy those fans are so loud, we had three of them and yes, they were on for three days. The guy that came out told us that if we turned them off they would be able to tell and it would void our insurance claim :affraid:

Jenn, isn't it interesting that you forgot to take something out of the freezer and had to go back in the house and go downstairs.... Just think what it would have been like 8 hours later....
