I feel sorry for myself because I couldn't be here for the gift-opening and chat. . . but I can now confess I opened my darling gift from Schnookie a few days early!! She made me the cutest little Santa pillow ornament! I'm going to hang it on the door knob to my sewing room, so it has a place of its own and can be easily seen and admired! And there is a snowman pin which Schnookie hand painted. It's so special, and I'm picturing how cute it will be on a scarf worn with my sweaters this winter. Thank you so much, Schnookie!!

Besides that Fritz got a gift, too! There was a little tiny cloth bag with two doggie biscuits just peeking out of it. The box was on the couch, along with lots of stuff I haven't put away since our trip. Friday afternoon I found the little cloth bag on the floor and the biscuits gone! That sneaky little doggie of mine had gotten on the couch, got his nose into the box, and helped himself to the biscuits! Not one other thing was disturbed and the little bag is still in perfect condition. I'm sure Fritz was thinking "These are yummy! I'm sure glad I got these treats! Thank you Schnookie and Jimi!"

Kris - Did you get a package from me? I mailed it Priority Mail on Tuesday!!

QBee, happy to hear you and Fritz liked your gifts! Sneaky Fritz but then I understand Jimi loves the biscuits too, I keep one in my purse to treat a friendly doggie and sometimes if I leave it on the floor I will catch Jimi with his nose in my purse searching out that treat he thinks they are yummie for sure.

Looks like everyone has recieved such beautiful and fun gifts. I surely like mine, now thinking I was going to make a pillow out of the Snowflakes I dreamt I made a table runner...now I have to think on this table runner, pillow, table runner, pillow....oh jeez I don't know which yet, maybe when I take it to the LQS to show it off, they will help me find the right backing and I can decide which with a little help...never was anygood at making a decissions scratch on my own!

Ladies,
I missed the opening chat but I received a beautiful Santa mini quilt from Luvsquilting. Thank you Joann!! It is hanging in my kitchen and is the perfect accessory to my decorations. I will post pictures if I can remember to grab the cord I need from Mom's to hook camera to the computer. What fun it was to get a gift that was just for me.

I did get a lovely package on time, QB! Thank you so much! I love the little snowmen plates and napkins.. and the most wonderful little ornament: a snowman carved into a piece of wood. So beautiful! As soon as DH gets home tonight I will get him to figure out why I cannot post pics right now. I am kind of computer stupid so he will have to help me. LOL

I have been going back through all of the posts to see who has gotten a package. Here is the list:

hummerlou

golo
AnitaM
Polska

Linda 2B
Jessie S

PK, I received my gift. I received a lovely apron from AQM9 (abertquiltmom9). I have started putting it on when I get home from work every day. I am a super spill person and have had to toss more items because of stains.

A few left on the list of those who have yet to receive their gift OR that I dont know they have it. The List:
betweens
Murray Tart
Redwork
quiltermarynel

I am going to contact those who had their names and see what is going on. There might be some mix ups, which would be my fault. Anyhow, we will get it cleared! Love to all!
