The 2009 BBS quilt got 2nd in division. There were 2 judges. I was working with the other judge, as it happened (being a scribe), so I did not hear much of what was said, but I did catch very positive comments about several blocks, although I am not sure which ones. All I heard for sure was that she liked the border fabric combined with the birdhouses, and who wouldn't like those cheerful birds?

Naturally, I am exercising my sore arm by patting myself on the back. :D

I have finally finished the quilt made from the blocks I have received from this swap. Ive really managed it that all my block swaps turned into ufos

I thinks its a perfect quilt for a grey winter day. Thanks to all of you who participated this swap and made me a wonderful block and in memory of Merry Bee!

That worked really well. Good for you! Of course, there is no reason everone should, or would want to work at the same pace. It is amazing how well all the blocks went together.

Oh wow Karin, thats awesome, the colours are so pretty and all the blocks are beautiful. I love the central applique pattern, borders and filler blocks, the whole thing is wonderful.
