It's here. It's here. I hopped to the post office first thing this morning and there was a pick up card in my box but no mail. Now we were gone most of last week and I knew there should have been some mail? So I figured the card was to pick up the wads of ads, bills, etc. They were there but so was a huge box! Thank you, Marian.
The box contained a blue wire easter basket which held 3 pieces of gorgeous blue and blue/white fabric, a note pad with my name on it!, an adorable Easter tea towel and (yes there's more), a cute Easter bunny sign. I took pictures but haven't loaded them on the puter yet. I wanted to get on here and let my Secret Bunny know that the pkg arrived safely.

Jessie, I just received mine in the mail. Thank you so much. It's beautiful. Did you by any chance take a picture of it before you sent it to me? If so, could you post it? Our computer is slow dial up and right now I'm not even using it much. Not even for getting on here to chat with any of you guys anymore. It takes me at least 20 mins.to get logged on and it won't work half the time even then. So I just don't get on much.

I'm not at home right now...at dear daughters watching grand daughters while mom and dad are at the nascar races in Virgina! I got the girls on the bus this morning then went home got more clothes, went to the hospital, then onto visit my sister, off to the grocery store and now I'm happy to be here on a high speed computer playing!

Oh Im so glad it made it Anita, I had fun choosing bright cheerful spring-ish paper to make your notebook and the bunny button just had to go on as a place marker. Laura wanted to keep the notebook LOL, she was grumpy that she couldnt LOL

mailbox Mail lady just came, thank you so much Anita, I will have to take a photo, you were so generous thank you so much. Anita sent me the cutest pair of socks, I have never seen anything like them (did you peek in my sock drawer? I just tossed 3 prs out for being old and ratty) the socks have a quilter on them, too cute and Anita knitted me the coolest dish cloth in the prettiest colours. I got a box of cinnamon spice tea, oh my precious (picture be stroking it and looking like gollum!!) its cold here today and Im about to make a cup yum and the patterns are beatiful, the cardinal scarf is the coolest idea and a civil war pinwheel pattern and a snowman pattern. Embarassed I feel totally over spoiled and humbled, thank you so very much Anita :eggzipper: :egghead:

PS I love the 3 footsies in your photo winking

I just thought of things you would like, Helen! They weren't very springy but figured that it was going into fall there and so it wouldn't matter. Marian helped me pick out the socks. Glad you like them! The bilby was good! (burp) chocolate anitas

LOL Im glad you enjoyed the bilby and just think, you are helping save them in the wild here by eating them (proceeds go to saving them) I loved what you sent, knowing you were out and about at a quilt show with Marian makes it even more special, thank you so very much. The tea is perfect, I will take it with me to the mainland, nothing like a warm comfort tea to keep your chin up after a long days work.

There is a write up about bilbies I did here and pics of them, if you are interested here

This has been a really fun swap, thanks for hosting it Breezie!! Hug

Memaw, I am sorry, I never took a pic. I am on dial up but no problem downloading pics. Just takes ages. But unfortunately my camera died and I replaced it with a cheapie. Big mistake, Not compatible with XP even though supposed to be. Had to take to computer shop. Visited youngest son and he showed me which camera to buy. Have to get used to new one. Glad you liked the gift. jessie s
