Memaw....Just keep plugging away! One of the reason I don't sign up for alot of swaps and challenges ...I fear if I get too far behind I'll lose interest in quilting. I am really looking forward to putting this BOM behind me.

Golo......You and I are on the same wave lenght on this one...I've got my pieces sketched and will deviate from her plan somewhat too. I'm keeping the acorns, not wild about the heart either. I really like how you made a strong contrast between the hat and the bird and lifted the hat up a little more than on the sample. Very cute!

Ok the pics arent good, its very dark here today and I havent stitched anything down yet or added the details etc but here are my oct, nov and dec blocks. Yup I said Dec, I need my blocks done to make into quilt for xmas gift, cant wait till dec 5th for her release. I looked over her patterns and site, then drew up my version with a partridge and reindeer.
will post pics when they are finished properly

we added a bat

I didnt want too many birds so we added a squirrel instead, took out the pumpkin and added acorns, the squirrels are filling the basket with acorns for winter!

my dec creation

I'll be heading off to my dd's home on Tuesday the 17th and I'm taking the blocks with me to work on while there. I'll post a pic of them when I get back. Although it may be a while because we are having computer trouble! Our monitor is trying to die on us. Good thing because I'm about to kill it myself! The screen is starting to come in. But I will post ASAP.

I did get an e-mail the Bunny Hill site and told her I love the idea of Angels for the BOM for 2010! Of course since this @%*#@* doesn't work 1/2 the time I don't know whether she ever replied or not!

cheers and have a wonderful weekend ladies,

I've been working fervently on both November and the sashing for December (have not even thought about what to do with the basket but the mach. embroidery is done for both months, November just needs to be sandwiched and quilted I should be able to finish November on Monday and post

Hi Basketeers! Whew! Not only am I behind on doing my November basket, I was really behind on looking at all of your baskets! Got caught up on that part, though.

Anita - your Oct dog bones treats is so cute and clever! I also really like the black bird on your Nov basket.
Linda - really like your Oct fabric, and especially like the quarter moon on witche's hat.
Golo - it's so fun to see what you do each month with your bright pink baskets! And your little birdie looks just great in her nice blue hat!
Gimpy - I'm glad I'm not you doing three of these for each month. The fabric you used for Oct basket is lovely and fussy cut just perfectly. I really like your two squirrels in November. (I think I'll be a copy-cat when I do my November, okay?) And your December creation - oh, my! Soooo very nice!!
Chris - you turned a cutesy design into lovely and elegant! I love it!!
