Anne Sutton has started sharing her new BOM for this year, its a snowman themed one. Love the fabric she is using, I was lucky enough to recieve a charm pack of this from Shemoo for xmas, its really pretty fabric

Welll BEANS. It is awfully cute.

And it has been almost 9 hours since I said I was being strong.

*%^#

(Oh!) On a side note, just this weekend the boss' buddy sent an email to the shop asking if we could start a stitch/quilt-along for last year's tisket blocks. I immediately waved my hand in the air and said I was "in"... heheheh. Might be a good way to get LAST YEAR'S BOM finished, eh?

(And yes, Gimpy, that's the hammer smiley I was talking about. I have a feeling that at least *I* will be needing it quite a bit this year!! doh )

Yes, that is a cupcake but darn if I know why. I think I have almost decided to do it in bluework, for a change of pace. Gotta try something new once in a while. anitas

Cupcake - sweetens things for winter snow bound people perhaps? I think its safe to assume that whatever the quilt is, its gonna be cute, Anne Sutton has a good track record to trust in

Took me 2 times before I could even begin to see the snowman then lost it before I could start the download! With slow dial up it takes forever anyway. But I'll try again tomorrow and I'm sure I'll get it printed off. I know I will because I have the girls again tomorrow night and I'll have access to high speen! YeeHaa!!

Linus said the snow needed sugar in charlie Brown Christmas. Maybe that's why a cupcake?

Memaw, I know what you mean about not being able to see it. I hadn't installed Adobe on my new computer yet (for some reason, it didn't come with it) and had to wait for THAT to download and install before I could see the block. I think I might do this one, not sure just yet. I did print it off, so I'll think about it for now.

Hey, golo, what color floss are you using? I chose DMC 312, which is a truer blue than 980 and 931. Just straightened up my floss and thread. Still have to go ythrough a stack of books and mags but it is much better! Undesided :coffee1: anitas

Anita mine is Coats and Clark #44... it looks like a Royal Blue... I hope embroidery floss does not get old because I came across 6 skeins of floss that use to be my MILs.... I know she passed away at least 15 years ago.. I am thinking of putting this together with a silver and blue snowflake fabric... If can find it... Undesided
