Linda, for what it's worth, with these BOM's, I try to use stash stuff first and limit the new fabric purchaers to borders and background.....although I DID have to buy a 1/2 yard each of tan and black last year before starting the dog yeared series. The white with silver in it that I have came from Joann's, if that helps. I would also consider that to be stash, as I got that sometime last year when I decided I needed some whites and bought something like 10 yards total of 4 fabrics. The silvery one will be used to make a log cabin Christmas wreath quilt wallhanging to match my tree skirt, but I haven't started that one just yet.

I went to the QS to get white fabric w/silver sparkles for my snowmen but they didn't have it! Then I decided I would use white fannel but they didn't have that either. So I can't start my block unill I find the fabric.
I may have to go with Anitas idea and use batting if I can't find anything else.

Fairy Frost would make awesome snowmen too...Did you look at that?

I did look at fairy frost and am thinking about it. That's what one of the QS ladies recommended. I'll have to go look again. Darn the bad luck! I have to go to a QS!

Awwwww...that is just a shame... lmao but then you could wait and see what is available at the Expo next week...maybe one of the vendors will have the perfect fabric and the fairy frost will always be there waiting at the QS.

Memaw, I don't know if this would work better for you, but it is in my album in the gallery as well.

I have a new bom greenworks that I am working on..I think this was block 8 so only 4 more to go on this one... but it is kind of enjoyable to embroider when you can't be at the sewing machine....
