I knew who Mckenna Ryan was but not her method as I have never done it. Thanks for the info.

I guess I will machine applique mine as I am giving it to DD and do not know how it will be used in the future.

Not sure what I will do with mine yet. Mum announced that she wants a double quilt finished by her birthday in July - 4 weeks on Thursday....my ladies will have to wait a couple of weeks.

So start watching for those packages around Friday for some and next week for the rest of you.... This was a nice swap to host... thanks to all of you for the nice FQs, notebook, pin and pin cushion... You all did a wonderful job and I can hardly wait to work on mine... nope, not telling what I am doing... will post pictures when I am done and I sure hope everyone else will too... looking forward to seeing them... Thanks again... you are the best group... Hug lovehearts

Yeah! It will be fun to see them all. They may have to wait a bit to get done, but that is okay too.

How annoying. When we got home from work today it was storming really bad. We decided NOT to get the mail from the mailbox at the end of the driveway. I have to wait until it stops raining to go get the mail.

ok call me stupid but we are here on this site to learn from each other right? new techniques? ok I've never done this type before I have always hand appliqued all my work, with this little ladies from the orient do we have to do a stitch around all the pieces to make them stay? don't want them coming off sometime in the future lol.. or are they done as they are now?

Breeze.... I would do some sort of stitch around the raw edges to make sure that they don't peel up during washings and normal wear and tear. Since everyone used different types of adhesives, I wouldn't want to take the chance of something pulling up.
