I have had this background fabric for a few years...I think I got it at Joann's but am not sure..... it does have tiny red cardinal birds with the trees...

You have a wonderful stash I am sure I have seen your quilts in your album many times for inspiration and part of a beautiful quilt is the fabric choices.. do you have your boarder fabric? how are you going to lay them out are you going to have sashing??

Nice job. Love the blocks. For some reason, I was thinking I had to have solid brown for stand. But I like yours, with just a touch of pattern. I will re-look at what I have.

Betweens.... I was thinking of some sort of sashing...but will wait till I get all the blocks to decide what to make. I just might have to 'add' to my collection to get a nice size....this was so much fun to do and I just love picking out the fabrics for my globes.. think of what you could do if you made this into a 'I Spy' quilt !!!!

Luvs.... okay!

Polska... I had thought about making the stand a solid color, but decided to mix it up a bit. It was hard to decide what I wanted to use and would go with my globe fabrics....but the red snowflakes and the green plaid seemed to go with all the prints I chose.

Did Kimbery Jolly buy out the original fabric cloth store? there used to be one, same name, was run by a lady from her home, I think she was in texas. Just curious
