DH, DD and I watched Twilight over the Easter weekend.....we all enjoyed it. I was surprised how closely it followed the book. Just started the 2nd book in the series, New Moon. DH said that they have already started shooting it.

I started to watch 300 a few nights ago, too tired, I went to bed about 10mins into it, just couldnt stay awake

300 is another one with beautiful cinematography isnt it? They managed to really create the atmosphere of a 'tale' rather than going for the real life look, we own a copy of it. I enjoyed shooter too

I watched Marley & Me last night. I'd been wanting to see it since the previews came out. It was good, but I spent the last half hour crying my eyes out. If you don't want to see that part, just turn it off after the kids get to play in the snow.

That dog was crazy and funny! I liked when they called him Clearance Puppy.

Aaaaahhh Bratt... you have a soft heart.... I watched Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons... I really enjoyed it and loved the period it took place in... end of WWI all the way to the 60's. This comes out on Tues... so if you have a DVD player go rent the disc ... its worth seeing.... I have also watched Yes Man... its okay... and The Reader.... I really didn't enjoy the nudity in the first half but the second half was really worth watching.... I really think they should leave love scenes to your imagination and not show it all...

Just watched Passengers... Ann Hathaway is the star.... interesting movie... its not something I would run out to see, but if there is nothing else to watch give it a try.

Thanks Golo, I always appreciate your movie reviews, you have saved us many times from junk! Last thing we watched was Flying High 2 (Bobs says you call them Airplane) the ones with Leslie Neilsen & Priscilla Presley, he is addicted to those movies

Ok Ill admit it, I didnt like The Notebook, it was on TV a couple of nights ago, I just see no sense in making movies with miserable endings, the world has enough misery with sitting in our own lounge rooms and choosing to watch more, I know I will booed for this as so many here loved it, just wasnt for me LOL!

I do want to see Benjamin Button. think I might watch one of the silly ones tonight like failure to lauch, good eye candy too, soothe my cranky soul (why am I trying to make a bag, I am no seamstress, I can only sew 1/4" seams aughhhhh, someone shoot me )

We went to see Land of the Lost while the "kids" were here. It has Will Farrel and it's silly. A few laughs in there too! Thumbup

Land of the Lost is not on Dvd yet... its in the theater... I liked revolutionary roads... not the best ending but still liked it.... I liked New Town... only every one in Minnesota does not talk like that... do they Qbee? Lots of good movies out there, just don't know which one I will watch next...

We haven't seen New Town - but now I'm prepared to be offended by way they talk, Golo! lmao

Revolutionary Road was interesting, but a little too heavy for my taste. It was okay - DH liked it better than I.

I wouldn't boo you, Gimpy! I like movies that entertain - if I want to feel miserable I'll turn on the news or pick up the newspaper! I haven't watched "Titanic", and always joke about how I'll only watch it if they remake it with a new ending! lmao
