I love hulu.com... I have been able to catch up on tv shows I missed ... like Fringe... infact I think I missed it last week so better go check it out before it airs tomorrow night...

Gloria, Fringe is on hiatus until April 7. My guess is American Idol or some such thing. You didn't miss anything last week!

Its hard to keep track all these tv shows are so short now..its like they shoot a quarter of the episodes they did when we were young.....you wouldn't want your actors actually toiling away for more than 8 weeks a year now would you!!!
I'm about ready to yank out my cable...it seems like all I do is pay this huge cable bill for the honor of watching commercials....in one hour of a show there are an average of 21 minutes of commercials...thats not counting all the adds they throw up on the screen DURING the show.
Ok I'll go in my corner now : )

We can get all the basic network shows without cable or satellite dish. We have a satellite dish. We pay about $90 per month. We are thinking of dropping it because we kept track and we watch 3 or 4 shows at the most and decided for $90 per month, we didn't care that much.

No I havent seen any of them or heard of them, the local, dare I call it video store only has about 100 titles and of that maybe 20 are newish, they include titles like Oceans 12 as new releases LOL will get bob to look for them, there is a video store near work he is going to join, a real one!!! I havent seen australia either, not in a hurry, Im not much into Baz Lurman and his style of film, he is a very egotistical guy and his movies reek of it, puts me off

I have see Changeling, did you know it is a true story? anyway that is what they say at the very beginning. Made me angry at the male dominance/egotistical attitudes of the time period....boy, have we ever come a long way!

Funny how different movies are released at different times in different countries, american movies release sometimes a few weeks after their US release here, I think we got james bond as we are linked with the UK and thats where it was made, ROFLOL as I type the radio is advertising 'rent quantum of solace now, new release, get in get it fast before all copies are gone" LOL

I remember he got to see it at his friends, I figured the cost of buying it was 2 1/2 times that of renting it, not even that, they charge $7.50 for an overnight movie in sheffield. Anyway I could buy it and watch it whenever I want, we have watched Daniel Craigs other one numerous times, it will pay for itself real fast. I got a note in the mail box that there are two items to pick up at the post office, I know one is a parcel from my parents so maybe the movie is the other item!

Hi Jessica, yes saw Archangel, he is a good actor, very gritty and realistic, not a pretty boy, we very much like his acting style. We ejoyed Quantum of Solace, action scenes were often filmed too fast if that makes sense, you could hardly keep track of what was going on and the story was a bit disjointed and bits missing but didnt matter, we enjoyed watching it and DH enjoyed the bond girl lmao

my DH and I have been James Bond fans for years...but I think I like DC as much as any of them. I like the story lines...they have gone back and stepped away from the High-tech stuff....
