Okay so spillit - what's the pattern, designer? How long have you been working on it? (I have a 12Days BOM, too... it's about 12 years old... I'm up to #3... and I'm not counting backward from 12!)

Very, very nice, HP!

You are right Ann, her fabrics are gorgeous. The fabric she used on the wings of the doves is soooo perfect. Love them.

The quilts designer is Wanda Hizer and the blocks are 12" . FiberBabble I am a good girl and am up to date with it Very Happy I started in February when it was released so it won't be finished for this Christmas. It is a BOM with Little Quilts ...www.littlequilts.com. They are in Georgia . I loved it so much that I am paying double the cost to get it sent out each month. Could have saved costs and had them keep it for me and send every three months , but I want at it !!LOL

That's what I say Betweens . It actually costs me about $32 Australian as against the US buyers cost of about $15 . But to buy a BOM here most stores are charging up round the $40 now ! It seemed to jump from round $30 up to this level in the last 12 months . And our $ was high so no excuse that I can see. So it is not costing me less than it would if I was buying from an Australian store

Re That last post . PHEW !!! I can't work this money out. I just went to my bank site to se eif Little Quilts had put in a claim on my CC yet for this month. That way I get to see if the block is on its way. Well , our dollar has gone down about 10cents . So on a bill of $31 that should put it up to $34.10 right ? up by 10 cents in the dollar . Well my bank has the charge at $43.82 !! Shocked Now that is getting a bit pricey for one block. I can't understand money . I might have to start looking at only getting it every three months to cut down on the price at that rate !

Henny..I think I'd call the bank and ask them why it's such a high exchange rate? Are they charging you a fee? That seems too high to me too!

OH Phew !!! It has just hit me why the charge was higher. They were going to put in a yard of the background fabric for me this month . See this is what happens when you get old and senile doh  Very Happy

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Me too ! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy . I am glad I didn't have to do three of them . I was hoping that there would only be one Calling Bird etc, etc . But as you see there were four and there are five golden Rings too. It is a strange BOM as you have no idea what the complete set is like . You only get to see the months block when the month arrives . But at this rate I am not looking forward to all those Pipers and Lords a Leaping !!! LOL

Henny that sounds like a fun BOM it sure looks great so far. So do they send you the pattern and the fabric to go with it right? scratch I have never done anything like that before...must put that on my bucket list to do for sure.

whew It's good to know it will only be that high on one shipment. I thought the exchange rate didn't sound right!

I'm not a Mod on this board so can't delete your extra post. THe writer of the post should be able to delete it. Look to the top right of your post..there's an X. Click on that and it should go *poof*.

A lot of forums that happens, you can only delete your post prior to someone else posting. If you ever get stuck just message one of the moderators for the board you put hte message on and they can alter or delete it for you, its easy Very Happy

Henny Penny I just love your blocks, the fabrics they are sending you have really carefully been chosen and the time and effort put into the selection guarantees a beautiful quilt in the end. I wonder what else will come each month? Make sure you keep us posted, we will be waiting to see too!!
