No I haven't Linda. It only arrived a couple of days ago , I have been so busy getting Xmas decorations done in the house and putting up two trees [ plus one tiny weeny one ] . I have to have thes eout in time for my friendship groups Xmas luncheon on the 2.nd Dec . I just either haven't had time or have been so pooped at days end that my quilting get up got up and went LOL The last three I think are going to be hard ! that is enough to make me procrastinate . I have done the first little prep on the new block so at least when I feel like it I can just start.

I don't know why I didn't have this block in this thread so thought I had better put it here to keep it correct !
Had to delete this pic as it came through too large. Now I can't remember how to delete the message . Help !!!!!!! I know I was told before but can't remember now. I have to write everything down.
Also , will ask here as I don't know what section to put this in. Does any one use Photo Bucket ? They have changed it and I am being thick and can't work out which link to use to put the clickable images on here . I thought I used to use the IMG link but when I tried that I put on a full sized image . Anyone help me with what link it should be ?

HP I use photobucket and I noticed they changed it too, grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I did notice that if you pull up the photo you want to use then scroll the mouse over the top of it there is a hidden menu that includes a resize option. I guess if you upload your photos full size to your photobucket album then you must need to resize them to post elsewhere. If you select the resize option then select the 'options' it will open the image in a window and then you have the option to resize and save the smaller one as a copy so you wont lose your full sized original image.

email it to me if you want HP and I will load it to your album here for you or you can load to your album here and then post it, that should fix the size issue. You cant select thumbnails on PB, you can put a link to the picture or the picture

I went back to the beginning and looked at every block again, HP. They are wonderful! I'm glad I went back as I somehow had missed the swan a'swimming, and it's lovely. Were you surprised by the piper? I've never thought of them as bag pipers piping. Will you go to assembling your quilt as soon as block 12 is done? I'm full of anticipation! Very Happy

Hopefully I will put it together soon after completion . I will only be using a simple setting of sashing and a border fabric. QB I love the bagpiper , but then I am s fan of them. I have seen all sorts of Pipers used . Some fabric I have shows them as American colonials and I would much rather the bagpiper to that . I had one of those 12 days of Christmas ecards sent to me once that had the pipers as Bagpipers also.

I like the bagpiper, too! I was just saying I was surprised. . . but now that you mention it, I've probably seen only U.S. versions and they likely make them look like a piper from our colonial days.

Qb , I should imagine that being an English song , in the original version they were tin whistle types or maybe those whistles that look a little like pan pipes. Wouldn't it b efun to try and imagine a modern look to it ! LOL
