I found an author that I really like, i've read two of hers so far and they grab me the very first page. They are Amish books titled " The Courtships of Lancaster County. by Leslie Gould. There are three in the series that I know of, the first one is " Courting Cate " the second one is " Adoring Addie " and the third one is " Mending Molly ". I get started and don't want to stop to see what comes next.

I'm starting (tonight)  "The Underhanded Stitch,  by Marjory Sorrell Rockwell.

It's a Quilters Club Mystery book 1.    I hope I like it.  I loaded it onto my Nook......   Some of her other books include:  The Patchwork Puzzler  and   Coming Unraveled.

Gee, haven't been posting here. I am taking a break from the Outlander series while my friend catches up with me so we can discuss. I have read several short books in the meantime, can't remember them all, but one was a sweet romance I really liked. It is A Matter of Class by Mary Balogh, I think the name is right. Now reading Emerald by Phyllis A.Whitney, an old book which took me a while to really get into but now better toward the end. Also, I am reading on The Hoarder in You which is giving hints to deal with hoarding and clutterering. It is kinda good but the only hoarding problem I have is books and fabric, but I am somewhat of a packrat and don't want it to get out of control. I had an aunt who was a true hoarder.
As soon as I finish these, I am definitely going back to Outlander. I can't wait any longer.

After I started reading on "The Underhanded Stitch" last night I realized I'd already read the silly thing!  So I deleted it from my nook.  I'm now reading a legal thriller called, "Deadly Sanctuary, by Sylvia Nobel.  So far it's been funny and good.

Having trouble with this silly Nook though.  Every time I turn it off, it takes what ever I'm reading back to the beginning!   It's NOT suppose to be doing that.  So now I'm going to have to figure out where I left off......  Knuppel

+Sounds like a pain, memaw!

I think the book I am reading now is called Mama does time. These are quirky Southern mysteries.

Another fun mystery series is Ministry is Murder by Emilie Richards. A nice family, pastor, wife, and two daughters, but the wife has a little problem with stumbling across bodies and not being able to stop herself from figuring out what happened.

Okay, the next time y'all post eye candy like Gerald Butler you must issue a general alert. It is really not fair to keep him all to yourselves, you selfish hussies.  lmao lmao lmao lmao lmao

Gee I miss reading. Wish Mac would work late more often so I didn't have to have that dumb TV on. I could read in the evenings for a lot less money than that Direct TV costs.  big sigh

QBee I liked those too. I read a lot of Amish books but once in awhile I'll find something else I like.

I've read one or two of  Emilie Richards books and loved them!  I'll have to go back and check her out again!

Anita,  Deborah Sharp is the Author of the Moma series......

1. Moma does time.
2  Moma rides shot gun.
3  Moma gets hitched.
4  Moma sees stars.
5  Moma gets trashed.

I looked them up at Barns & Noble to see what the price would be to download them on my Nook, and they were way to high for me.  So since they come in LARGE PRINT, I have them on my list to order from the Library later on this summer to read.  They all sounded hysterical.....
