The cabin wasn't very clean, so we ended up cleaning before we moved in for the week. The vacuum wasn't picking up much so I took it apart. Bag was packed full and the belt for the rotating bar/brushes was broken. Stopped at Wally World and picked up new bags and belts and repaired.

Hurrah for you! That would be a great tutorial. Ya gotta turn the thing over and take out the screws, put on the new belt, seat the rotating brush, and put the screws back in. When I'm home mine will need work. I wonder if its been used at all. Very Happy

We have to clean the brushes all the time. Perils of having long hair floating around.

I told DH when we got together that I don't vacuum (triggers migraines), press clothes, take out garbage or mow lawns. So far (30 years) it's working and I'm sticking to it.
lol!

Ray is old fashion. He does it all.......but if he isn't home, I do it. Why didn't you wait for me. Nice thing about being raised by my dad, I don't have to wait for someone to do things. I know I can get along just fine.
We have a bagless vacume. Its great with the dog hair. Have to use it daily.
