Also I was thinking of a due date around the end of February 2011 so you can make the blocks at your leisure and have plenty of time. It won't interfer with the holiday craziness!

I wouldn't mind doing some, but i would not like to make up another new large project in the near term. I have too many on my plate as it is.

Is Churn Dash the same as Hole in the Barn Door? I'll start mine as soon as you choose the block, then no chance of having to drop out because of these endless family crisis situations. Very Happy

CC,
I have the size at 6 1/2 unfinished but I think we could go to 8 1/2
depending on how many signup.

I would prefer to do a different block. Something simple but not churn dash. Will try to find some possibilities soon.

OK, did a bit of research and I have 2 possibilies. My top choice, since I love the pattern, is sawtooth star. But one whcih might be kinda neat just uses squares is the rosebud. I will try to take pics of each one. Undesided
