Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes!!!! I am so thrilled to be a part of this group and can't wait to get started on my signature block! I am an amature quilter and have been self taught, with the help of my very good friend Polska! She is the reason I joined. I have enjoyed looking at all the pictures of everyone's work and can't wait to get started!

Well the first package of blocks have arrived!
I don't think I need to tell you who's they are!
Golo, of course! They are lovely! I can't wait to see more!
But for now they are safely stored in there special spot waiting for company!

Glad you got them, Lynda2B.... I think at xmas I am going to have the family all sign one and send some out to friends etc.... this should be a really nice quilt to have... I am going to call it "Friends & Family".... Thumbup

Got your blocks today They are now keeping golos blocks company.
A couple more and we'll have a party!

Glad they arrived...that means my SS must be getting hers soon as I mailed them the same day
Glad you enjoyed the ornament but that was Hummerlou that posted the pics of her beautiful ornaments

Polska....those towels I love, can you believe I bought them at my local independent Spartan grocer. I like them for the embroidery because they are not looped on the top surface but the back side has a deep nap so they are absorbent and the embroidery doesn't get lost (buried). They were nice enough to order quit a few for me because I made 25 towels for my DDs baby shower. I had not seen anything as nice as them at any of the stores around here.
