Today I realized that I forgot to get my mail from the box yesterday..........

I got a package from Sue (Angel4ever) from Sweden with all the squares. Along with a letter saying she is so very sorry that these are so late and she has been ill and in the hospital. She would appreicate it if I would disperse these for her.
She also said she has tried but been unable to log onto our forum, unfortunatly she did not give me her email address.

I didn't count the blocks, we had a busy day here but if you sent Angel (Sue Agar) a block and were expecting one in return please message me your home address and what its for.

CC she must have mixed you up with FiberBabble who was going to send them out for her, thank you so much for taking care of it unexpectedly. I emailed her recently to see if she was ok and had no response, she was on my list to contact again next week. Im sorry to hear she has been so ill, hope she is doing better.

Today I made the blocks to complete our signature quilt and sewed it all together except for the top row. Those spaces are reserved for Angel and isn't someone else missing? As soon as I get an addy for Luvs, it will go to the mail. Envelope is sealed and waiting. If there is one block short, I'll put in a Last Resort title block. I even have a batting and backing ready.

Anyway, it got me to thinking. If I make album blocks and send them to members to sign with a SASE, it would include everyone on the board. That would be an awesome quilt. Whatta ya'll think?

I made the sample block tonight, its too big, 12 inch instead of 10. Embarassed Its called Album Block, Chimney Sweep and Roman Square.

This way we choose our colors, size, and pattern.

I'd post a photo but camera's battery is down.

I have a fairly stressful situation. It is barely 7:00 am and here comes Granny. Every day is an adventure, I've told her I get up early to have time to myself but she really doesn't remember from day to day. She'll demand coffee, her pillow, the chair pushed back, have to make breakfast for her and if the bacon isn't crisp, she won't eat it. And I've banned the barking heathenish chihuahua from her lap while she's eating. Guess why.

Add to that the chores, fighting siblings, teenager fighting with mom on and on.

What's that got to do with signature quilt?

Someone is always going somewhere and posting pictures. FB's red hat always makes me smile. There are worse situations than mine. Someone is always making a quilt or a new project. Someone is here to make me feel better.

So I'd like a quilt with everyone's online name at least.

So now to fetch the pillow, the pills, the coffee, etc. And paste a smile to me face.

Red.... your description of dear ol granny made me smile and especially the chihuahua lmao
Having taken care of my Father n law I can relate to your situation. He did take a nap everyday and that was a nice quiet time for me. Now I look back on all of that fondly as he is no longer with us.
No problem with me signing any block that you might want me to

Oh wow...Red......what a stressful situation for you. Being an elderly person's caretaker is way worse than caring for a child. Thinking good thoughts for you...wish I had a magic wand! Sounds like you have a great attitude....if there's anything we can do.....besides listen....let us know!

Sadly I have no idea what has happened to Angel4ever. I had pm'd her but heard she was having trouble logging onto the forum. I have emailed her but to date had no response which is sad. I hope she is ok, CC said she had been in hospital. She was getting blocks last I heard from her, I dont know how many she sent to CC to swap out here

I havent recieved one yet, how many blocks did she send you Chris? I just got a message from Angel4ever, she asked me to pass it along to you all

"I will keep this short, to let you know I came home yesterday. Its been really hard. I dont know if the signature blocks arrived? I am sorry they were sooo late. I love the ones I have recieved. My sonīs friend is coming over tonight to check the computer out.....
Please say hi to everyone from me. Sue"

It sounds like she has been in hospital again and I know she had some computer problems some time back so it sounds like thats ongoing or been put aside while she has been unwell. I wrote back, will let you know if I hear more. I'll email Alicia and see if she sent one too and let you know, I know she is buried at work these past few months and finding it near nigh impossible to get on here
