Anita M. wrote:
We could make the center part of the rail fence 3" and the rop and bottom 2" of we need more space to write. When sewn together that is a 6" unfinished.

That could be a real pretty variation on the rail fence Anita, good thinking on giving us more room to write all the info.

Linda if its definate the block is rail fence then yes, count me in. No matter what, I will get my blocks made mojo or no!!!! Will we do it as Anita suggested?

Anita it will come out square after you sew your pieces together... unfinished at 6 1/2".. do a test one...

I am going to send off squares to all my family and have each one sign a square and maybe all my quilting friends here in town... This will be a fun quilt to sew together....

No it won't Gloria! 2.5 x 3 = 7.5 = 6 finished. In this version 2 + 3 + 2 =7 = 5.5 finished!

Anita,
I have changed the instructions to 2 1/4" for top and bottom
and center is 3".
2 1/4" + 3" + 2 1/4" = 7 1/2" - 1" for seams = 6 1/2 unfinished

NO THE SQ IS SQ!

The Top and bottom can be anything you want.
It can be the same or different. Scrappy!

The center strip is the signature portion. It
will be white or off white.
