But I sure like all the gifts posted so far...some lovely ideas there and I wish every one was my SS.... open the gals that didn't get their gifts get them in time for xmas... Sherry I hope your daughter gets well soon.. there is a bad cold hitting everyone I hope that is all it is...Hope your holidays start with everyone getting well so that they can enjoy the season.
I finally was able to make it to a chat this year and yes it was fun I loved being there and seeing all the kiddies excitement (that is what it was like..LOL) everyone opened the gifts that was there.
Breezie was there, TMM was there, Golo, even Mamu stole her husbands Laptop for a visit. They all had visitors and still popped in TMM`s kids were laughing at the old ladies chatting on line.

I got a wonderful Santa sampler wall hanging from my SS Marion she did a fantastic job putting it together and quilting it. I love the fabric choices!! I have it on the wall. I will take a picture and post on my blog later today also a great towel with Christmas candy and gourmet coffee with pumpkin spice...very very thoughtful. Thank you so much Marion for your wonderful gifts I love them. I am so glad you were my secret sister we have `known` each other for quite a while and now I have a memory for the holidays. I will be up with Paws gift that I got and the one I got from Quiltermarynel from christmas past...
Thanks again...everyone for the `party `last night it was fun too

Hi and Merry Christmas!!
I missed the chat due to our Girl Scout Christmas party but my gifts from Helen are lovely!! A beautiful towel with a bird applique, an appliqued garden pillowcase and some yummy Cadbury chocolate with different Austrailian animals on them. The kids are asking about them...no for Mom only!! Thank you, Helen they are fabulous!! I am so jealous of your stitching, love it!!
I'm going to try to get back in a little bit, off to see my in-laws then hopefully home to make more cookies.
Gwennie
Hope to post pictures soon of my gifts!!

What beautiful gifts, glad you liked yours Gwennie, I figured the kids would get the chocolate wrappers to cut and paste with later, thats what laura does with them. laura chose all the animals, she said you had to have a tasmanian devil :-)

Anita that coffee cup shemoos sent you is beautiful, the bird on it is a Rainbow Lorikeet, we used to get them bought into the vet surgery when I worked there every summer, darn things eat loads of overripe fruit and get drunk, they literally fall out of the trees and sky and people would bring them to us, we put them out back to sleep it off and then re-released them. they are the noisiest raucous birds, they make a din 24hrs a day LOL they are starting to make it to tasmania, a few have been seen, with global warming the temps are better for them so maybe I will see them again, its been 10yrs since I last saw them adn they are beautiful

Hummerlou thats a beautiful set you recieved, pretty fabrics and beautifully put together, just lovely.

Everyone has done such a lovely job it sounds like. I will get a photo of my beautiful bag today.
