Last year we decided to draw names for Christmas. My son got on a website where you enter everyone's email address and the site chooses for you and sends each person an email. That way only the site knows who has who. also, you can go on the site and give yourself a password and make a Christmas list. It worked really slick. We kept logging on and saying funny stuff. It was called Elfster.

now thats a cool site and a great idea, you'd have to do that with a big family and it makes sense, so if you were Elfster last year who are you this year?

I think that would be perfect for picking out names this way even you yourself would not know and enjoy the surprise like everyone else. Does it also give you ideas on what you can get that person that is so hard to buy for??

Well, it didn't give ideas, but you could enter a list of items you would like and everyone could see it.

One of the issue we had is that we did not want spouses to get each other. So he entered who could NOT get who.

Another thing elfster does is you can choose your person on the list and ask them a question. They can answer and the person doesn't know who asked the question, so they still don't know who has their name.
