I added bookmarks (sure they could be cross stitched Memaw) and I put travel trays with a question mark. I have one Golo sent me and I love it, I keep it on the throat of my sewing machine and keep an unpicker and some pins and bobbin in it, its so handy.

I took a photo of the the two handmade bookmarks I have, the one on the left is all fabric and was made by BearFoot, how she does it like that I have no idea, we will have to ask her LOL! The one on the right I made and did it in the same fashion as a fabric post card, it has fabric on both sides and I used very heavy duty watercolour paper in the middle. It was a test/sample when I had the idea making post cards one day

Like the bookmark idea! Lots of different ways to go....crossstitch, fussy cut, piece...small and useful!

Gimpy, maybe you should poll this swap? There are so many great ideas out there on this I'm having a hard time choosing which one I'd like to do. Maybe a poll would help.

Just an idea.

Gimpy we could do a poll to decide the order and then do one every 2 months or so.
These are all easy projects and only require making one. Mailing directly to your selected swappie!

We could call it "The Little Projects Swap".

Well we dont get them all going at once, just do one or perhaps two at a time depending on what they are, the bookmarks are a small item and might be run along with something else. We can spread them out over the year for fun too, maybe it should be the 'itty bitta fun swaps' LOL I can set up a poll or we can number them and then use one of those random number generators to choose the order? People can come and go joining the ones that interest them as they come up, no one has to sign up to swap all of them.

Anita I'll add mini quilts to the list, I know Betweens finds them irresistable too!!

Bonding my patushy! The only thing your "bonding" with are those two beautiful quilts your working on. You aren't fooling any of us girlfriend!

Why Jill, you could just come down here and "bond" with my wedding ring quilt for a while and have it finished in no time. I'll get that simple thing

finished one of these days and just surprise you my friend. AND, I'll get

the rest of those UFO's finished too......this year! I still have 9 months left.

Just watch and see.....

Well, Memaw I'd say that sounded like a real challenge. I'll tell you what, you get all of your UFO's finished and I'll buy your lunch at The Coffee Cup and we'll sit at the table near the fireplace and Christmas tree. And when---oops I meant if--you don't finish them you will have to buy me two yards of fabric of my choosing.

The Coffee Cup is a small restaurant about halfway between Memaw and me and we used to meet there for lunch before going to a sampler class we took for awhile.

Aren't you glad we're good enough friends that we can joke about this and not get mad with each other?

Yeah, I hope everyone knows we're just joking. If I couldn't have fun and laughter I'd go crazy. Well, perhaps I should have said crazier! Now Memaw, get busy on those UFO's.
