Square for me. My design will work either way so I'll make on point for whoever wants it. Soon as I get home I'll work on them. Looking for a piney woods print.

I am getting with SherBear tomorrow. We are making the bookmarks and I want to see what she thinks on a few ideas I have for this block. I have a few ideas and not sure which one to do. I better try and draw something out and see if it works.

I love real flowers, although i don't do well with any fake scents.

Square or on point, either way.

I prefer mine to be square and will do on point for those that want it that way. I have representative fabric. nolajane

I have all but 3 of my little "Sams" finished and ready to sign, seal and deliver! I had to go back and recount and add 3 more. I was very happy to do that of course. And I had forgotten to make one for myself. I counted 10 all together.

I checked and made everybody's on square except mine. I should have mine ready to mail by Friday. I know, I've said "that" before too. But this time it's for real.... I'll post when I do so you can be watching for them.

According to our local quilt history buff, the older Sams (Andys etc) as well as the Sues were more complex and on more complex backgrounds. The ones I have made have been of both types, but mainly the more complex ones. I will enjoy whatever I get.

Well, I had two sets I was planning to send. 5 of one and 5 of another one. I am not pleased with the one and the other I ran out of the background fabric! So now I'm heading back to town with GD #2 for BG fabric and I'm gonna do them all over again.

My motto is: If I don't like it, it doesn't go out the door!

I'll aim for next Friday as my mailing date.

OK. I redid 8 of the Sam's totally. They are on new background fabric.
4 are on different background fabric.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Now, if this is going to be a problem for anyone I will drop out of this swap. NO hard feeling at all. I'm so sorry I couldn't get the same background fabric. All the little Sam's are the same now except for the BG fabric on 4 of them.

Please let me know ASAP if you want me to stay in this swap.

Thanks.....Kay

Memaw,,, they don't have to be on the same background .. I am sure each one has its own personality.... must be nice to be ahead of the game...

Thank you both. Glad I'm still in. I know I'll have them in the mail this week!

I'm leaving Friday for DD's house in Columbus and will be there for a week. So my plan is to get my little Sam's finished and in the mail.

Happy Day! My little Sam's are on their way to Polska. Please let me know when you receive them. I'm heading out tomorrow...Friday for my DD & SIL's for a week. I'll check in as often as I can though.

Going to take a few things to work on while there. Might even get them finished!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and great next week. God Bless.
