Marynel, I hope everything goes ok for you. You need to take care of yourself so you can sew later.

that is exactly how i feel. I did a bit of block making today, with just a bit of pain, but I really need to baste and quilt some flimsies and I know I couldn't do that right now.

Monday I told my Chiro that I wasn't sewing because of the pain. His comment, "Now I know it's REALLY serious!" After Thurs-Tues with no sewing, the shoulder and neck are much less painful, but I am feeling slightly nuts.

I got my pattern drwn today. I was unsure if the picture was clear enough until DH came in and made a rude comment about Sam's position.

Oh you got to tell us...can't wait to see him.
When I was first looking for ideas years ago, I found a site on a swap of nasty SBS and Sam. X-Rated.
Shocked

I got a pkg from OH today. Redwork, they are very nice. I like they way you bagged them all individually. And thank you for the fabric.

What page has the specs? So many square, so many on point, unfinished 10 1/2, right?

Can you tell, I'm not at home this week, but brought all my stuff to get these out. My brother doesn't have an iron but youngest sister loaned me hers.

10 1/2 unfinished block
cream, off white background or theme from your state
Sam, any colors and theme is your state.
Pre wash blocks, I will put them all in zip lock bags when I mail them out.

Fused/iron on only. We will do our own stitching once we have all the blocks returned.
Signed (name/user name, city, state and country)

All but one is sq. One wants hers on point.

I have been slow getting started. After over a month with a very sore shoulder, I planned to finish up last weekend, then DH and I got a really bad cold. today, I got my Sams cut out. Unfortunately, I think mine will arrive a day or 2 late.

Please don't disown or beat me.

Would you believe my sister came and got the iron not four hours later with no real explanation? The mentally ill middle sister was probably behind that. So I walked three blocks to DolGen and bought one for $9.00.

This means those two are off my 'make a quilt for' list forever!

My background is not cream. Does rather resemble piney woods. One on point. Signed? OK, but my handwriting is so bad. Just have to trim the blocks and fuse. Hi ho, hi ho......

QM: We don't beat or disown anyone. Only shower with love and fabric.. Knuppel

REDMADDER: I find friends to be nicer then family. Its only an iron, what was she afraid of? My back ground isn't cream either. So don't worry. Some are, some aren't. This is not a swap that has to be exact. I am flexable. SherBear was over and I had her do my signing. I can't ever get it to work well. she did it as if it was nothing. So I handed her my blocks... lol!

I started working on the Sams again. It is obvious that my shoulder will not let me do this. I am going to ship the cut out, but unfused Sams tomorrow,

He's panning for gold. I was planning on adding a rock, a tree and gold French knots, but that's not going to happen. BTW, I used to own a mine claim and have gotten a bit of gold by panning.
