I just found my copy of Sunbonnet Sue: Family Album#4. so I am very tempted, but now is not the time for me.

GC, when I first met SS, I was extremely unimpressed. To me they looked like fat girls with deformed arms. The more detailed ones are more interesting, however, IMHO nothing to add .

Ahhhhh, Quiltermarynel I thought she was adorable. I wanted to make a quilt right from the getgo and finally did for my little 3 yr. old grand daughter. My daughter didn't like SBS at all.

I will admit the more detailed SBS's are prettier and more interesting.

How many of you would like to wait until Fall to do this? We could have it due end of Oct.
Please let me know. The more the merrier.

10 1/2 inch blocks unfinished
just iron pcs on, each person will do own stitching.
Theme what ever you want Sam doing, its up to you.

Gimmpy-its ok, I understand. We all can't like the same things, its what makes the world interesting.

Polaski,
Do you have a reason for 12 1/2" blocks? We did a swap a while ago of SBSue's and they were 10 1/2" and I would like to add them together. But if 101/2 isn't good for the other swappers I'm still in!

End of October is OK for me Polska. How many do we make?

I may find and sent mine out to a cancer hospital for kids. I know they sure would love it.

Did everyone doing this swap do the SBS swap were the blocks had something to do with the state we lived in? If so should we do that with the Sams?

I still have my blocks from the swap a couple of years ago and only have 10 so I would like to have a least that many more Sams to add to the Sues. nolajane

Lindaw2B it means more doesn't it if they are reminding you of the state they came from... I love my SBS....
