LOL! I do audiobooks when cleaning.....have a fanny pack/bum bag that I use to carry the "GASP" antique cassette player ( I can buy cassette audio books for a buck at the used book store here or borrow them from the library for free!) or cd player and headphone....I can vac and dust and clean away if I'm distracted by a story. I'll listen to anything.....diversion for ADHD me. LOL

Golo...those look great! Can't wait to get mine! Someone gave me....get this....8 small tassles....so think it's fate and they will be on mine! Just gotta get fabric that matches them...varied colors.

Ok.....we are mailing them all separate it appears. If you need a list of addys, please PM me! That will make it fun.....7 envelopes to look for! teehee!

Yay!!!!! Cheesy placard :crayons: mailbox

Oh, my, golo! I only have a kitchen because it came with the house! Oh, and that's where I set up the coffee pot!
lmao lmao lmao lmao

Okay, you're right - I do have those kinds of books and now that I think of it, a lot of them do have bookmarks in them.

I dust them off every time someone comes to visit.
hahaha

I do admit, though, occasionally - occasionally I do treat myself to a 'real' book to just sit and read. (The book isn't the treat, it's the "just sit" part that's the treat!) bubble bath

Miss Laura will be thrilled, when she saw the ones I was making she asked me for one too, chose her own fabrics. She said she would like a collection, now she is busy reading each night in bed before lights out she can use them, she has stacks of books she is reading and needs markers for all of them - thanks for thinking of her :readingsmilie:

Here are pictures of my bookmarkers.
The first pic is of the four I made for DH to use in his work books. He always has 3 or 4 that need markers. I added a string to his because he likes them.
The second pic is of the bookmarkers I made for the swap.
Which one is for you?

Well, the orange one, of course!!

Linda, I've wanted one of these ever since I first saw them here on the forum. I'm just tickled that this is what you chose for your pattern!

I timed it, and the ones I'm making (the jury's still out whether I'm making two each) take One Miss Marple PBS Mystery show (90 minutes). I'm up to 6 and two halves (ahem) scratch

Ok well I think I'll post mine tommorow, I was going to embellish them, add charms but I just cant do it. I keep thinking if I add charms then they wont be flat and if they arent flat they will bite into the book pages and well, thats just not on. Havent come up with any other bright ideas yet, will keep thinking today and if not, will post mine off tommorow
