PostSubject: a nice snow family   Fri Dec 02, 2011 1:57 am

http://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=03fe90224655 I am generally uninterested to making snowman quilts, but this one might be an exception.

I liked this puzzle. Some of you might like it too.

(PS. This site has lots of quilt puzzles under "explore" - "Popular tags" - "quilts", but if you decide to register for the site, you will definitely want to go to preferences. Anyone can post absolutely any pix on this site and some of it is really gross.) I got there originally from Quilt Show. I think it is fun to post my own quilts and do them as puzzles.

So cute! I too love this site, but have to only let myself do the one the Quilt show sends out on Friday and an occasional other quilt one. It's addicting!

Yes Golo, it is done automatically. I was wondering if you have to sign up or something ? it has a " sign in and sign up " in the top corner. At first last night I was worried it was one of those bad sites ...you know, Malaware , viruses etc. My virus protection would stop me being able to access any of those sites . Run a virus scan this morning though and all seems OK . If I don't use marynels lnk and just type in jigsawplanet it will take me to the home page but then if I click on any of the puzzles .... boot off again ! Are you all signed up to this site ?

I don't have any trouble getting on, just can't figure out how to get the pieces to turn around.

I think it says some of the pieces will rotate but some won't. The little symbol at the bottom right of picture says whether they will rotate or not, but most do not. I have signed up and am having fun with them. I haven't put any pictures on it yet, but I plan to try it soon.

Gno, thanks, yes that is a little wall hanging for my first grandchild when he was born. I will put it on my gallery so you can see it better if you like.

HP, I have no idea, but I do know that I can't get on CTTQ anymore. The only thought I had about the jigsaw site is that it does have porn available and you might have a blocker program on your computer. Of course, I said no porn when I made my profile, so I don't see what I don't want to see.

You can also go to jigsaw.com and do their puzzles and upload your pictures to solve yourself, but it does not have quilting stuff in general.

You are very welcome.

When I first joined the guild, some members were still pretty rigid about acting without consulting everyone. A couple still are, but I am the V Pres., so they don't say anything. The guild has changed a lot in the 11 years I have been it. Some were changes nobody wanted, like our glorious leader dying. These days, If I want to do something, such as provide a judge's placemat for our quilt show judging day pot luck, I just do it. I designed and made new membership cards and changed the way they were handled. I got only praise. I guess they are getting used to me.

I wonder if you have the latest Java (free at to www.Java.com). Without it you cannot play.
