That's good news, Polska. Haven't looked thru the book as intended, maybe this evening. I need to insert cards with the corrections.

When we were driving for several hours last week, I read the Hobo book to my DH... he really enjoyed hearing all the stories... sure made the trip go fast..

Thanks for the will wishes on job. My first day was good. 4 videos, a small tour, and info on pets/service animals.

I love the stories in the book. So interesting. We live 42 miles from Oakland. Went there yesterday and spent time with some of his fam. Took 2 hrs to get home. Traffic was so BAD... Wish I had my book or something. I even tried to call people. No one ever answered. Was such a nice day out, everyone had to be enjoying the good weather. Yesterday and today, in the 90's here.

The sound of making a flannel quilt right now is not interesting. Makes one hot. But I think its the best fabric chose for mine.

Work is good. Nice to get out and do something even if only part time. I am still in training. Tomorrow I start out on the front desk. Who knows, I might be able to give Golo a vacation...lol Thanks for all the wishes.

Nice weather still. Sad day. I have a neighbor who I help with pet sitting. She had me feeding a cat for her a few days. Today I went with her. She doesn't think the drip system works well enough watering plants. So, I went to water the hanging flowers (she is to short to reach) and out come baby birds. I lost one, saved one. And don't know how many total. If only two or three.

then after that she tells me she had seen birds coming and going out of there and she didn't know why. If I had known that I would have never watered them. I feel so bad. The ones who didn't get put back will die for sure. They can't fly yet. And the one I did put back. I hope the parents don't abandan. They live in a very rual area, if cat, wolf don't get it, the snake will for sure.

Other then that, day off. So looking for a deal on NFL fabric. One of my sons co-workers wants Raider and Denver Bronco pillow cases. Why he waits till football season is over with before he ask for them is beyond me. I can find Raiders localy, but have problems with Denver. I can get it at J&O online, but have to pay shipping. I was looking for buy $$ get free shipping like Fabric.com is doing. So, I keep hunting. Might make him wait till football season come. (I made him these last yr after the season was over with, guess he needs more)

Then Ray's neice calls me and wants me to sew her and her two kids matching blouces. Off work for 2 yrs and now everyone comes out of wood working wanting me to make things, when i don't have all the time...lol

Trying to figure out if I will make my HOBO quilt a wall hanging or not. Guess I will have to wait and see. Oh, lap quilt for sure. Its going to be flannel. Ok, that solves that problem.

Congrats on the job! I'm anxious to start on this project, I've done so many projects for others this year. Nice to do something for me. I think flannel is a good choice for this quilt.

I am. I think I might start cutting my blocks out today since I am off. That way I can start sewing when the time comes. Put ea block in its own zip bag and sew away as the time comes.

I wonder if one of those hobo symbols means "If you're nuts, come on in"??? The way it's been at the office today, I'm ready to look around outside for special markings on our building.

Wondering if you ever found any markings on your building. If so take a pic and post. If you haven't washed them off yet. If you need a sign that says keep out if your crazy or in a *@# mood, don't come in. We will be happy to look up the sign so you can make and post outside.

lol!

For me its easier to have who has chosen which blocks all on the very first post. That way as I have to post them, I don't have to go back and find which page and where to put it. Unless you all want me to repost it everytime new. Let me know.
Right now, I need to figure out which Red gave me her choice and fix it on first page. I was told I put it under the wrong Red. Want to double check my handy work...or lack of I should say.

I worked on the blocks today and sent them to Helen to post incase I am not here....

don't forget to add 1/4" seam allowance when you copy the triangle in some of the patterns...
