Buzzy's Mom - Those are darling and beautiful!! Are they paper pieced? I'm not very confident about my piecing - but I'd sure like to be able to make those. I have quite a collection of angels - I think of them as messengers of hope and love. How perfect for a hospice quilt.

I had a terrible aeful no good day, with a migraine until the evening. Since I did not feel up to doing anything strenuous even then, I quilted an already basted top.

Marynel - what a cool design - interesting how the 2 blocks came together to look like a butterfly - love it!

Seeing my angels again makes me want to make more! They were so fun. That charity still hasn't posted a pic of the finished quit but will share when they do as I'll bet it will be stunning.

Well here it is - My Simple Treasure. All batiks. It was a block of the month most of 2008 through Claudias Quilt Shop. It will be the yearly raffle for the hi school downhill ski team. I used to be a coach & my son still is. They hope to make $2000!!! Yikes

Thank-you everyone - my buttons are popping. I am really proud of it.

QBee - I have a long arm quilter do an overall of clouds on most of my quilts unless it is one I can stitch the ditch. Would love to try long arming myself but really don't make enuf quilts to make it worth while.

Today I got one top sandwiched and quilted. This is another for which MOST of the fabric came from Mamu's stash. I also got another top well started on the quilting.

DH is delighted to see the pile f tops and other UFOs go down.

Iambuzzysma, I really love your quilt. Great job!!

On a MUCH simpler note, today I was working on quilting the tube quilt that I had mislaid and found yesterday. It's nearly done. I hope to deliver it tomorrow. Mamu gave me the wonderful purple "buggy" fabric. The backing is a gold/tan flannel.

The layout is what can happen if you allow a DH into the sewing room. Very Happy
