Add me to the list please. Is there anyway you could scan these and post online? Would be cheaper than mailing.

Okay, I will host a charm/button swap after the 1st of the year to go with this quilt a long. If you want to participate, ya kinda have to make up your mind now. Because after Christmas, you probably won't find Christmas themed items.
I am thinking along the lines of you get back the same # of charms/buttons that you send. Maybe swapping 1 larger for 2 smaller ones or something like that. How does that sound to y'all? If you have a better idea, PLEASE let me know. I don't want anyone to feel they got cheated.

You don't have to sign up for the swap now, just be thinking about it and preparing for it because of the seasonal nature of the items.

Ideas presented so far:
buttons
charms
earrings- take off findings
stem ware rings- take off rings

Check your local $ stores and be creative. I have seen childrens jewelry that could be dismantled and used for embellishments too.

Helen, what if you send one set to me, I'll make dublicates and send them out to everyone who wants them. That would save a lot of international postage. Just send me a list of names and addresses.

Okay, charm/button swap is a go. Everyone good with one-one trade? You get back the same basic number you send? (Might vary a tad when taking size into consideration).

I would like a copy of the Christmas designs. I love them so such. I wish that I could draw so well. I am presently cleaning out my sewing room, making room for my new fat quarters.

If you don't have room for all 400, I am sure many of us would "adopt" a few from you. lmao

This is the goodies I bought today! I didn't even have time to look at the buttons.........I plan to buy lots more when I go back Thursday! Got these at Crafts 2000. I lucked in today. I've always wanted to spend the $20.00 and buy one of their annual cards, but never seemed to have the extra money. Well, today as you walked thru the door they ask you if you'd like to sign up for FREE! I did and saved a whopping 50% on my entire order!

And I will each time I use the card! And I seen what looked like FQ's......... I'll be there quit a while come Thursday I can see that now!

Thank goodness Natalie loves to shop with her memaw!

TMM, I think the way I'll do this is kinda a one to one ratio thing. If you send me 12, you get 12 back, all from different people if possible. The only time this might vary is if someone sends me a big charm, they may get 2 littler buttons in exchange. I will try to keep it as even as possible. It is the only way I could think of where we would have a little something from everyone who participates.

BUT if someone has a better way , I would love your input. Very Happy

This sounds right to me TxMary. Gimpy if you know what %% they needed to be enlarged too, TxMary could take them to her local Library and run the copies off on their printer. That's what I do with copies that are too big for our 8 x 10 printer.

Just an idea TxMary, not at all trying to tell ya how to do this. Please take NO offense.

Offense? For what? Did you steal my cookies? MY coffee? No. Okay, all is well, nothing to see here folks, move along. lmao

Its a great idea. I'll have to go check and see if our library has a big copy machine. If not, I am sending them to work with Mac. Twisted Evil
