Tough losing a parent no matter how old they are. Just lost my father-in-law and father within 3 weeks of each other.

I totally missed when Gimpy had started the BOM. There's no rushing creative genius.

I did get one. I did 3 of them and then went off and started other projects. I wanted a wall sized that was a bit smaller, so I shrunk it a bit. Now I can't remember how much, so likely will have to redo the math to figure out the dimensions of the blocks.

didnt you give the % you shrunk the pattern in a post on here? Might be worth a quick scroll back through the topic to see, I was sure you commented how much you shrank them

I'm going a little further and reducing the size.  I'm doing it 75% of the original.  I'm thinking of hanging this in our entry, so a bit smaller would work better.
Here's your post about your size. Very Happy

Been looking on line for sashing fabric.  Course my blocks are in another room!   I'll get back to it come Monday when the 2 youngest GK's and DD isn't here.  And then tomorrow SIL of said DD is coming along with youngest DD and her DH and the 2 oldest GD's.......      12 yr. old had her birthday party today and he spoke to me as my hubby and I was leaving!  He was all smiles then.  Go figure.   Have to wonder how he'll act tomorrow in MY home?          Undesided      Should I get my cross bow out just incase?

Once again,    LADY CALGON,  TAKE  ME  AWAY........    sewing2       That's what I named my sewing machine!

Your SIL is older than you? I knew he was older than your DD, but I didn't realize he was older than you. I always wondered why a woman would be attracted to someone older than their dad. In this case, Kay, I'm thinking not personality. Twisted Evil Guess I'll have to keep wondering.

Yes,  I'll soon be 59 and he turns 63 the day after me.  This man never smiles to or at us.  OK with us if he wants to be a mud face.  No skin off our faces.   What our daughter ever seen in him is way beyond us.   Guess it was   #@#   according to the GD's.    That will stop one of these days. I'd think anyway!

He constantly hoovers around her. I think he's afraid she'll say something to me he doesn't want her to say.  She never calls me anymore just to talk. We never go shopping or to yard sales anymore.  She handed over her checking account to this man.  He now has total control over that.  I personally don't trust him any further than I could throw him.   I do know he's lied.

They sat on the couch Sunday either playing a game or texing each other!   Wasn't that fun?   This is what they do all the time and she wonders why the girls spend all their time in there bedrooms.  Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
