I saw this TV show once where a girl got a new temp job. She's sitting in this tiny office on a computer and there's another employee on a computer in the same tiny office. She turns around and asks him "What time can we go to lunch?" He looks at her with a shocked look on his face and points frantically at the computer. She asks again, "What time can we go to lunch?" Again, he looks at her with a shocked look on his face and points frantically at the computer. But this time he starts typing on his keyboard. He emails to her, "You have to email me!" She replies, "F_ _ _ You!" Gets up and walks out. It was a classic.

These two love birds tex each other while driving because they don't want the girls to hear what they say to each other!   My granddaughters just want to call the local cops on them.  I said go for it before your in a car wreck and die.  But mom will hear them and then they'll get into big trouble.  Adults would just lie about it anyway.

Just let them be in a car wreck and me find out they were texing.  Won't be no trial for either one of them.  There will be for me though!

Joann Im laughing at the tv show you saw, too funny, bet there are a lot of people like the guy though, Id be the woman for sure lmao

Texting while driving, ok, it just gets worse and worse, they dont deserve to have children around them if they cant be responsible, the poor girls. Whatever happened to waiting till the children were in bed or outside to have a conversation you dont want them overhearing? What disgusting, self indulgent behaviour, if only someone could report them, its not just the girls but other innocent people's lives they are putting at risk. Texting while driving goes in the same book as drink driving for me and you dont want to get me started on the topic

Me either Gimpy.  My oldest brother was killed back in 1968 by a drunk driver.  I was 13 at the time.  My brother was 24.  Two guys out of four were killed that night.  The third guy almost didn't make it. The driver has spent more time in insane asylums than anyone I know.  About lost his mine. I totally forgave him, because I knew that's what my brother would have wanted.  I even told him and gave him a great big hug.  They all were drinking and having fun.  My brother would never have wanted him to suffer the way he has all these years.  He spent no time in jail for this, but has spent all these years in torment and hell.  We forgave him, but he'll never  forgive himself......

No it sounds like the guy has been tortured and tormented beyond anything a person deserves. It was a stupid thing he did to drive drunk (although the public education wasnt out there so much back then) and his stupidity cost two people their lives but he didnt set out to kill anyone, in the end it was an accident. Im sorry you lost your big brother but Im glad you are a strong person and could see that life is better not letting things fester hug08

All the blocks are now ready and my fabric is picked out for my sashing.  Come Monday morning I'm going to start cutting that sashing and sewing!  Hopefully by afternoon I'll be posting a picture!  NO working next week so I should get all caught up........ I hope.

Golo I love it, and not because of the design, because you made it and I love your fabric choices and snowmen buttons on the gifts ribbon and snowflake buttons on the stars - love the blue stars and buttons on the pudding and well, I love your quilt and I like your pretty meandering quilting pattern, thats really sweet!!

I tried ric rac and it just didn't work for me.    I tried regular ribbon and the same result.    I need to get it finished and off my design wall.    I love Golo's, so I'm going that route.    The one thing I did change was the hat design.

Guess I never put the finished picture here. It is in the gallery but I don't see it in this thread. I added hot fix crystal, buttons, ric rac... as much stuff as I could. Was fun and I just love it.

Ive been working on this the last few days, got the embroidery I needed done, cut sashing and assembled the top, now I just need to cut some binding and assemble it, think I will do some red binding so its not too dark/dull. Once together I will add all the buttons and embellishments to decorate it
