I finally was given an image of my auction quilt after it was quilted and bound. I hear it did well at the auction. I wish I'd done the colors differently, but I like it anyway.

Except for the 4 straight bits and the end borders, it is all 1/4 log cabin blocks.

Marynel its lovely, brings to mind modern celtic or mesopotamian stlyes, I can see it as knot work or as a beautiful mosaic tile design, well done!

Thank you. I had fun making it, but made it bigger than I intended. I just got carried away.

What a nice quilt and what a great project for an auction. I would have liked it in different colors too, but I think these colors probably appealed to those with more modern style preferance. Kudos on a job well done.

Thanks. Actually ALL the quilts at this auction brought in larger than usual amounts. A local bar owner set a minimum bid for all, even the little bitties at $100, then 2 other major local players got into bidding wars. It was all to benefit our county fair.

Really nice. So nice that your county is supporting the fair. Sounds like good people.

Thank you all. This is an easy pattern, being made of quarter log cabin blocks, such as those in the corners.
