I love them both Laura, but especially the 2nd one. Of course, I really like stars, so that's a given that it would be my favorite.

I was able to finish (after getting my thread order...another story posted in grumpy posting) this quilt for a lady in our Sew Day group. She had made this Double Irish Chain quilt when I had made the ugly yellow/pink one. She wanted hats quilted all over it as one of the fabrics she used has hats printed on it. The design I used was pretty intricate and detailed, I think it was made for computerized quilting. So I ended up tweeking the design a bit with putting flowers/ribbons on the hats. I hope you can see it in the pictures. Her colors for this quilt is Hot Pink/Magenta.



The quilt measured 92x110

Wow ! wouldn't have ever thought of quilting hats mamu . They make an interesting look in that plain area.

I finally was able to beat Knuppel  Pandora into submission and got this bargello quilt all quilted for a friend.  I think her colors turned out pretty, gives a different look no matter how you turn it.






Then I quilted this one.  It is all done in batik's, even the backing....measured 89x99  I used a gold thread and quilted feathers all over it.  It belongs to one of the Sew Group Ladies and she is planning on giving it to a friend.

Speaking of hats, since our fair has a decorated hat category, about 5 years ago, I made a flag motif "cowboy" hat, which took a ribbon. 2nd place if I remember right. I donated it for an auction, so I no longer have it. I used my Stetson as a model. For body, I used 2 thicknesses of fusable interfacing.

I have been busy quilting for other people.  This quilt is Alicia's (QM9) and is her second quilt.  It was a nice large bed size quilt and she did a great job on it!

These are quilts made by a friend.  The first one was a quilt she made using scraps she had left over from another project.





This one is the Lover's Knot that she did with the sew group.





I quilted feathers all over it....
