Don't worry Sheemoos. I have extra too. I only mentioned it so the other ladies would be aware. I think the post office runs the envelopes through machines to sort them and the envelopes get squeezed. I could see indent marks on the envelope. Golo and Bobbie's buttons made it okay. You just never know with the post office. Don't feel bad, you can't control the mail. hug08

Helen, no package yet but I am sure it will get here.

For those of you who have not sent yours yet, don't bother with the SASE. I'll just hold the buttons and send them with the pattern so that the pattern can help protect the buttons on their return trip. I'll use bigger envelopes so hopefully they won't go through the machine and get smashed.

would a little bubble wrap around the buttons help stop the shanks getting jammed in the sorting machines?

Oh please don't worry about it Shemoos. I only mentioned it so the others would be aware. We will have plenty of buttons to go around. hug08

Gimpy, still waiting for your package but we had a holiday Monday so that will cause a delay too. So not worried yet.

I'm a bit confused as usual, are these the patterns of Helen's that she made and did you have to send buttons to get a copy??? I had ask for a pattern before I knew anything about any buttons .

Helen, the pattern pages were fine. Not a tear one. Kinda amazing actually.

Norma, the button swap is a seperate thing from the pattern. It just so happens that I am doing both and will save myself a bit of postage by mailing the pattern and buttons in the same envelope. You do not have to be in the button swap to get a pattern.

Great, as I had ask for the patterns but sure don't have time for anything else now, I'm still digging out. Haven't had to throw out much so far, some one just grabs and leaves with it. That's fine with me as long as it's gone.

No thanks, no way to get to the post office and I'm still down sizing the entire house so work until i get to hurting and rest awhile and then get back at it. No fun, but needed after 37 1/2 years living with a hoarder.

They should be getting there soon. Sent them out Wednesday. Told the mailman if I didn't have enough postage on them to let me know, but he left nothing in our mail box. Mary, if you end up having to pay extra, please let me know. I put 3 stamps on it!
