Golo I double salt, well actually I eat food with my salt might be the better way of putting it, Id not encourage anyone to eat the amount of salt I do but I have low BP and get cravings for it, its regular in my diet

I've seen people eat off the back of their for before with their knife and thought that looks so clumsy but to each his own. I'm like Bob, I eat a bite or two of this and a bite or two of that unless it's supposed to be together like something on top of rice or potatoes with gravy etc. I think it's just the way we were brought up I'm sure. Never have used real napkins or table clothes either, use paper towels and even paper plates to cut down on dishes as Don and i have a time of standing at the sink washing them for very long. If any one comes I do it right.

It's more kind of European to hold the fork the Aussie way. I know Germans hold their form like Aussies, but in their left had and then their knife in their right hand. They then typically do not put them down until they are done eating.

Just as Krafty said: In the US, we typically hold the form in the right hand and if we need to cut something we transfer the fork to the left hand, pick up the knife and cut, transfer the fork back to the right hand and then eat the cut item. Seems kind of awkward when you go through the process.
