Paquilter, I think you will enjoy this... it is a fun exchange... if you go to the gallery I think there are some pictures of items that we got at xmas time... table topper, small wall hangings, hot pads, mug rugs, and sewing items are just some ideas.

Welcome paquilter, so glad you have joined us and are interested in joining some swapping fun. You can see gifts that were swapped in the secret santa swap in december by clicking HERE Might help give you some ideas of what gets swapped back and forth

We all sign up then Alicia who is organising it will send you out the name of someone and their address via a private message. We usually use a random number generator to pick the names

You can buy, make or re-gift, we have a value cap of $15, if you dont want to send international which can be pricey post wise then just let Alicia know when you sign up, you can send her a private message if you dont want to state it publicly. We have people from the US, Canada, Australia, Germany and Spain who often swap.

There will be a date set and you just need to make sure you get your gift to your recipient by that date (international, allow 10days usually)

We post pictures of what we recieve either in the topic or the gallery and we have fun, its just about getting something fun in the post box, doesnt have to be fussy

Gift does not need to be xmas related or themed for this swap, its gifters choice

Oh and to help each other out we have a swappers likes and dislikes topic, usually you can find the person you get on their and see what they like and dont like. Please, put your likes and dislikes on there too, you can find it by clicking

HERE

Hope you join us, and again, welcome to the forum Very Happy

I see Gimpy is saying to look at peoples likes and dislikes . I thought Gifters Choice meant just that ? that you didn't have to be trying to suit someones wants, it was what you wanted to give ? am I wrong then ?

HP I think it just helps to know their color scheme or maybe that they don't like a certain era..... if I knew someone loved 30's repo and hated modern it would help me decide on what to make..

Do we want it to be the gifters choice whether it's Christmas related or not?

HP I thought the likes and dislikes would help to know colours, styles etc like Golo said, When you are new and dont know anyone, it can be hard to know what people like and dont like.
