Giving this some thought today and was wondering if the gift needs to be handmade and quilt related?

Dear Gift Recipient, I need more info:

  • Do you like to dress up a little, even if it's not a special occasion?
  • Other than quilting, do you have a favourite hobby?
  • What is your stance on Sock Monkeys?
  • Could your purse be considered a piece of luggage?
  • Are you always cold?
  • Do you do themed Christmas trees (or trees at all)?
  • Do you take quilting (or other handcrafting) classes?
  • What colour is your favourite shirt?

I am of the denim and pearls class.
I read(Kindle), do simple embroidery, crochet, decorate my garden cause my plants don't always make it.
I don't like sock Monkeys.
No luggage anymore. Downsized my purse because of shoulder pain.
NOPE! Have my own personal tropical vacation several times a day.
I have a snowman tree and a jeweled tree that I switch out every other year.
Would like to take classes but will be babysitting starting in Jan so guess that is out.
A light aqua/turquoise.

Hope this helps Tracy cause I know you were asking me. lol!

Here are my answers:

FiberBabble wrote:
Dear Gift Recipient, I need more info:

  • Do you like to dress up a little, even if it's not a special occasion? Yes. I wear scarves and shawls and dangly necklaces and big bows in my hair. Usually not all at once, but that's not out of the realm of possibility.
  • Other than quilting, do you have a favourite hobby? I play with yarn. Knitting and crocheting.
  • What is your stance on Sock Monkeys?  They're cute. Ish. My life is not incomplete if I don't have one, though.
  • Could your purse be considered a piece of luggage? Nope. My purses are about the size of a box of cake mix.
  • Are you always cold? I haven't been cold since 2009. I went to Alaska in late September with only a raincoat as outerwear.
  • Do you do themed Christmas trees (or trees at all)? I've given up on tree decorating and let Mr. W. do it. I'm too controlling - WAY too controlling. He likes to put sparkly things on the tree, preferably foil-wrapped chocolates so he can just eat the decorations rather than putting them away each year. Thumbup
  • Do you take quilting (or other handcrafting) classes? I take the occasional quilting class.
  • What colour is your favourite shirt? Turquoise and black.

  • What is your stance on Sock Monkeys? I loathe them, creepy little buggars........
  • Could your purse be considered a piece of luggage? I only have a very small wallet, no purse
  • Are you always cold? frequenty, as I type actually, its cold this morning!
  • Do you do themed Christmas trees (or trees at all)? no, Bob and Laura go hell for leather
  • Do you take quilting (or other handcrafting) classes? no

  • Other than quilting, do you have a favourite hobby? Not really.

  • What is your stance on Sock Monkeys? Hmmm, never met one I didn't like!

  • Could your purse be considered a piece of luggage? No. I use a small/medium fabric (not leather, they're too heavy) shoulder bag.

  • Are you always cold? Usually cold!

  • Do you do themed Christmas trees (or trees at all)? No decorating for Christmas here.

  • Do you take quilting (or other handcrafting) classes? Yes.

  • What colour is your favourite shirt? Two favorites, one is blue and the other is rust.

Ha, ha. DD Jaimie was given one as a kid and she was terrified by it. She also was afraid of clowns.

Well Jaimie is a smart gal, as far as Im concerned clowns and sock monkeys go in the same basket and that would be the trash basket, they are both creepy!!

Oh, I just remembered that I forgot to get a Scottish ornament while I was there so guess I will have to have my Scottish DDIL get me one next time she goes. I have everything on my tree and ornaments from everywhere. My theme is variety. I have quite a collection.
