I am looking a whale pattern for a child. My first grandson who will be born on Feb 07 of next year.

Oh Redwork, congratulations on becoming a Grandma clap  so happy for you all, and you know its a boy, do you know his name yet? I gather you are looking for a cot/crib quilt pattern? Do you want pieced or applique? I often do a google search and then look at the images, see what catches my eye, have you done that yet?

Slumbersoft made a beautiful one for her grandson Struan, click on the pick to see the bigger image


She might have some ideas on where to find patterns etc

I don't think you can do much better than Slumbersoft's pattern, but if you want to try, check out coloring pages, whales.

REDWORK,      I have a whale pattern you can have.      I got it off Connecting Threads and made a quilt last year for a baby.     I won't be using it again.      It's similar to Slumbersoft's.   PM me if you'd like it.
