What nice gifts everyone has gotten!

Luvs - nanananabooboo! (with my tongue sticking out) I'm waiting to open my gift this evening, when Tom and I sit down for our happy half-hour. So I've been gooder than you thought I'd be!

Helen and Laura - I'm so glad you like the hats and especially glad that Laura modeled them! I must say, though, that I was hoping to see you in your hat, Helen. I did smile as I worked on them, thinking that Christmas in July meant it would be good beanie weather for Laura and you.

No package yet. I enjoyed making the gift I gave QBee, so all is good. I got the kits right before signing up for SS. It was those 2 kits that made me decide to sign up. I wanted to give them to someone!

TEEHEE!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my presents from Alicia....Quiltmom9! Four super cute nesting fabric boxes....with sunflowers....one of my favorite flowers, an 8th note charm, the neatest notepad of tags, fridge magnet notepad (love those) and a spiral note pad....all with cute flowers on them. All wrapped up in cute Christmas paper with a sparkly tree ornament on top. Thank you so so much! I carried that box with me in the car so I could open it today....made it to Fort Worth about 3 o'clock.

Took a picture, but will have to see if I can get on my parent's lap top to post it tomorrow....for some reason I can't post pics from my Ipad or phone.

Luvs/Joann, I could not be happier! Thank you so much!! The runner fits perfectly on the chest in our living area and goes perfectly with our Egypyian rug which hangs above the chest! The chest has been covered with a boring, flat, lace, ecru runner, which is going into the second hand store donation bag today. Luvs also made this lovely zipper bag, which is going into my purse very soon. Thank you, Friend!

I waited to take pics today in the daylight. The blues in the runner are beautiful teals - not royal as they seem to look in the picture.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Linda2B. My gift is so awesome.

I can not find my camera. Was nearly in tears yesterday looking for it. Still looking. Just don't know where it went? If I don't find it today I will take phone pics. Won't be as good but better than nothing. I just don't know where the camera is. It sits on the desk next to the computer ??????

She made me an awesome set of Halloween goodies. A table runner, hot pads, trivet, and way cool apron. I love them all. I love Halloween!!!!! Camera, where are you (this is scary, it is not a cheap camera and it is not like me to misplace it  cry2 )

Mamu, I am so happy you like your gift. It was a bit outside my comfort zone as I don't do many shaped things. But they worked and I was happy. I tried to get treats for the family, fur kids and all, so everyone could share in Christmas in July.

Lovely gifts all around. As usual everyone put their best foot forward.

Dear Golo, I am thinking about you and DH. Sending love and hugs.  hug08

I received the most lovely package today from JennQT. What beautiful gifts I received!

1. A wonderful spring table runner. It will be so fun to have on my table.

2. A pattern by Terry Atkinson. Did you know she was from Minnesota? Her patterns are usually easy, quick and have easy to follow instructions.

3. A real gem (for me anyway). A book by Jinny Beyer. The book is called "Color Confidence for Quilters". It has several patterns, but also the main purpose of the book is how she develops a color palette for her projects.

Thank you, Jennifer!

TXM so glad you like your gifts. I had so much fun making them for you! I knew you liked Halloween and I had bought the fabrics in SC when I was there last and it just seemed right for your gifts.

I have picture if you want me to post if you don't find that camera.

I love them Linda. I just love Halloween and Fall. I can't wait to put these out.

Here are pics from my phone. Still no camera.
This is the cutest apron. Just slips over your head but it is harder than you think...you have to get in the right opening, which I did not and got stuck. Cassie laughed so much she couldn't get me out the little weasel. lol!

And check out this guy. Meet Herman. Isn't he adorable. To keep me company.

Here is the table runner, trivet, hotpads, and towel. I don't know how I got so lucky but these are the cutest.

What a cool pattern. That tiny orang strip with the writing is a ribbon. Narrow little ribbon she sewed on. Amazing.

And the towel is double sided. How will I know which way to hang it? Will have to flip it everyday!

Thanks again Linda. I truly love everything.

I could spit nails. DH just walked by while I was posting pics. I mentioned the missing camera. He said "Oh, its on the back of the truck in the garage. I used it the other day and forgot to bring it in." Apparently he was never around when we were hunting it. How silly of me not to look for it in the garage.. I mean, doesn't everyone leave $250 cameras in the garage. %#@^&%#!*

Helen has opened a Christmas in July album for all of to post our gifts in. Hope to see more pics soon!
