Thanks for all your help Memaw, it was fun having the secret conversations about Jill with you  lol! lol!  and it was fun making your gift Jill, you helped me by providing me a subject to experiment on (with mixed media that is)! I really enjoyed making it

Turned out lovely Helen. The nest couldn't be more perfect. I really need to try that someday.

Yeah, Kany's made it. What did you get Kany?

Poor Sewnsew got stuck with me honestly we started this long ago and then she won the gift bag. I had the hexies all together and then lost the pattern, I have just found it on top of a quilt that I had been quilting but had not touched due to getting the other projects done. Then I have a friend coming over thought I would clean it off and have just found it to finish the bag and send everything to her.

All your gifts are lovely you ladies are very good at coming up with ideas for gift giving and so very talented.
Sewnsew will be in Aug, nothing like prolonging the anticipation...just through some fq's at me and call me bad quilter bad.

This is the lovely table runner I received from JennQT.  It has the most fun colors.  The pictures do not really do it justice.

Thank you, Jenn.

Ok, here is the 'before' shot, my current plastic bag solution which is driving me nuts as its sticks out, takes up room and well, it drives me nuts

Now here is the same space, thanks to Jill all neat and tidy and bright and cheerful and happy, yay, I waited 6yrs to get my laundry room painted and cleaned up and Im thrilled to have a pretty bag holder, thank you so much, its a really awesome gift and just what I needed. My sewing room is opposite the laundry so it really is making me happy to see that stupid blue paint bag gone, now its tidy, balm for the soul!!

This is the sunny cheerful wall hanging I recieved, I hung it on the internal laundry door to take a photo as that room was best lit early this morning but you know what, its going to stay there, I see it from my sewing room and it goes with the garden hanger and garden stuff I have in there and I see it every time I walk down the hall towards the bathroom or bedrooms, its like a ray of sunshine, thank you!

Oh and the best thing was the joke Jill worked into her gift, her wallhanging, the block design is the "Contrary Wife" just perfect, I laugh every time I look at it, very very clever Jill clap  lmao  lmao  lmao  lmao  lmao  lmao

Linda, the flower/veggie packets on Gimpy's gift were from the scraps you sent me last year in the scrap swap. After I thought of the Contrary Wife (very suiting of me, ask DH!) block and started going through my scraps, I knew the packets were perfect. It was a joy making that, smiling all the time.
