PostSubject: Quilting Feeeback Contest   Fri Apr 04, 2014 10:43 am

Hi all,
Ms Gimpy Cat has allowed me to have a small contest. I am happy to have been given so much feedback on quilting products that I would like to give some prizes. The rules can be simple:

1) From now to the end of April, give me feedback/comments on items I post questions about. That will enter you into the contest.

2) All those who have already commented will be entered.

3) You can comment as much as you like, each one is an entry (Up to 5, but please don't stop there)

4) Prizes may be prototypes or items for sale.

5) Will select winners by random draw. I will PM you for shipping address if you win.

I intend to post some more questions in the next week that I would like to know more about.

A few things about me: (Please stop reading here if you really don't care!)

> I have never quilted. Terri, my wife sews but has not quilted either. We are planning to put up a pic of ourselves in our profile but I have yet to get one of us together approved. :) Will work on that.

> When I was laid off a few years back, we bought a trophy company. A friend asked us to make her some templates with our laser. We did and I decided to put them online with our CD-DVD inventory on eBay and Amazon. They sold pretty well so we added to the assortment. Terri is very good at designing things and we still sell trophies and awards as well. (If you need such a thing, let me know. We don't have a fancy website but we make really nice stuff!)

If you want to know anything else, let me know!

Thanks and Good Luck!

Dennis

Hey all,
We are upping the prize winners here to at least 2! A bonus 3rd prize (a good one!) will be given by random draw to anyone "Liking" us on Facebook. Go to our page by clicking the button or the link is here:
https://www.facebook.com//pages/TCR-Engraving-and-Graphics/137870479660346

Feel free to leave a post about this great forum or how I don't yet have my picture up yet (Terri promises to approve one of us soon!) or even about the puzzle pieces that have magically became "Applique Templates" in our eBay store! I didn't even know we had made any until you all told me!

We recently added tumblers with seam allowances to our selection. One example set:

Terri is also finishing up a "Stitch in the Ditch" that I will share for your comments as soon as I get the pictures.

Thanks for reading!

Dennis

lol! Love the magic applique templates. Too funny. Very nice tumbler templates. Look well made.

Alas, can't like you on Facebook. Almost stone age here, not on Facebook.  geek

Cool! As you can see we are not even at 100 likes yet! If a small business wishes to advertise on Facebook it is way more expensive without enough likes. (Not sure why?) Until we started selling on Amazon and eBay we were just local. Most of our customers just stop by!

Thanks for helping us out, Good Luck in the contest.

Tumblers. Consider making them so you can cut a strip of fabric and then line up tumbler template to make different sizes.

Hey all,
Just about a week left on the contest. All you have to do is give feedback on any of the items I have posted. (Some are in the advice area too) I will take all the usernames and have someone draw the winner. Then you just need to stop by and pick it up. (Kidding of course, unless you are nearby!)

Also, remember to like us on Facebook, that is a separate contest and has a great prize. Just like us and you are entered.

Still trying to get Terri to approve a picture of us to put on the site.

Happy Quilting!

Hi, we find the random number generators you find on the internet come in handy for competitions, just assign each entry a number then give the generator a swirl and whallah, easy peasy. Have fun!

Sounds easier than tying bacon to each entry and letting the dog do it.

Thanks!
