I have no idea right now. I will PROBABLY make the background (light) all one colour then go with whatever scraps are in front of my face and the right size.  Very Happy

I think I'd better go look to see if the yardage is listed, just in case Marilee and I happen to stop in at a quilt shop on the way home tomorrow.

mailbox  It arrived! It arrived!

Actually, it arrived on Tuesday but I had to work on Wednesday and I was busy doing THIS Tuesday afternoon

Yep, I already started!  It's made differently (and more easily) than I'd expected, so I can do this in bite-sized chunks.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Anita for being willing to share the magazine with me and being so quick about it.

Ummmm.... I need to empty one. When I unpacked from retreat I immediately filled all the boxes with different projects.  doh

BUT one just has the stuff to make a potholder for Die Cutter's Guild. If I can tear myself away from the land of HSTs I can probably get that together and on to the DONE pile.

Update: I thought I had a "better" way of doing those little HSTs so I switched horses. Got 2/3 of a block done, it was nothing but trouble. I have the other 1/3 to un-sew (then sew back together, of course), so this week so far that's all I have to show for this project.

I've been working more hours than usual (yay for the $, boo for the time), but I have the weekend off and hope to make some more progress.

Just wanted to show everyone the fabric I picked to make Capella, the pattern FB sent me in thanks! Kinda curious how it will turn out. I shopped my stash for the 3 1 yard pieces and got the green for the background. I am so excited! Thanks again, Tracy!
