I'm not sure yet, Sewn. I know Anita mom wants a turtle row from Zanesville and there is a duck one in St. Clairsville.

Marynel, I posted the link to all the states. You can check CA or any other state you may be travelling to if you are interested.

I plan on doing this too, but quilt shops are far away, so hope to get 8....  I might need some help from you gals...  I can pick up extra license plates if anyone wants them?

I got two rows down today. Only 79 more to get all of Ohio, LOL! So far I have lily pads and some white ducks. I told the lady at the shop the ducks should be yellow. She said they were supposed to be swans. I explained that some shops know me as "duck lady" and she laughed.

No license plates yet. I left my name at one shop (also gave them 3 quilts for Linus) and they will call me when the plates are in.

Golo, I'd be more than happy to send you some rows!

Thanks... If you each get me one from different stores and two license plates... I would appreciate it.... Would you like me to send you any from this area.? The one in our town has a cute row with two fish and the one by our lake has melting snowmen with a rabbit eating the carrot.. Let me know I can pick them on this weekend... Bratt? Anita?

Are these shops in ND? Some shops have posted what their rows look like.

Just checked them out on FB. I like both those rows!  Some shops have turtles and I am especially interested in those. Bratt likes ducks and snowmen. Are there any special license plates you would like?

I got my first "official" quacker row today! I also got the first license plate of the year for Anita mom and me--QUILTERS ROCK! from Abigayle's Quiltery.

Anita mom is absolutely right. I made her and Marian like the Ohio Row by Row page on Facebook. Just do a search for your state and "Row by Ro9w Experience" and they should have pictures of most of the rows available on there. That is how we are planning which ones are a priority for us to get!

Remember this is a national event and goes until September 8. Canada participates too! This means if you happen to go on vacation, you can check out what shops are on the way that are participating!

I came *thisclose* to buying a row kit today. I convinced myself I have tons of duck and water fabric and there was nothing in the kit I was dying to have.

Here is a picture of the one I got today.

The license plates are made of fabric and are about 4" by 8". Basically, they are fun little vanity plates like you might see on a car (for example, my brother's is GON3MAD.) They are selling the license plates for $4 each, but not all shops carry them. Each shop has a different one (I have seen some with 3!), so even if you are just collecting free patterns, if you start collecting plates too you will be spending money.

Oh what a cool idea, that really is neat, wish stores here were more proactive and would do stuff like this, they dont even do the $5 BOM programs, nothing like they do in the states. Have fun, the plates are really cool and thanks for taking a photo so I could see, I was very curious!

I like the plates. If you get enough you can make a cute border or something from them. I think it's a fun touch. Too bad there are too many miles between shops around here.

Thanks Golo! I am trying to decide which plates you would like best! I have a few ideas, but still deciding!

I checked hours on the places I want to go. One of the farther away shops is not open Saturdays, but I asked them on their FB oage and tbey WILL be open July 3. I am off that day, so I think I will try to go there then. Saturday, I am hoping to make it to the Ohio Amish country shops.

Wow, great job Golo! I'm still at 6 rows done and 3 more in progress, although one is getting close to being done.

I'm also at 54 shops done in Ohio, so 27 left. Only ONE is in the northern half of the state!I go on vacation next week to hit up the southern half!

2016 Row by Row shops are being announced! I am excited once again. So far, I counted 86 in Ohio and I know of several others that have not yet made the list who participated last year. It will be interesting to see how many more end up being part of it this year.

http://www.rowbyrowexperience.com/start-here.htm

Thsi is the start link. This is a NATIONAL shop hop. Choose your state and they will tell you who is participating so far. Shops have until May 15 to register. The Row by Row runs from June 21 to September 6. If you collect 8 rows, make a quilt out of them, and are the first to turn your quilt in at a participating shop, you can win a fabulous prize!

The closest quilt shop to me is 60+ miles. To get to 8 quilt stores, I would probably need to go about 200 miles ONE WAY! I think DH would disown me if I even tried.
