Bratt when does it start?
If it's not to soon I have 6 shops around me, 2 by my kids and 3 in Columbia where TMM lives. So I could get enough to do a SC quilt.

What would be fun would be to go to Ohio, visit some quilty friends and stop by as many shops as possible.

Maybe I could get Red to go with me!

I have my vacation planned for August. Right now, I am planning to hit as many shops as possible that week. Last year, I made a 3 day road trip around the state to hit some of them farther out. This year, I am considering expanding that to 4 or 5 days and starting by heading west to Shipshewawa, IN. I have an idea of how to do this, but I'm going to wait to map it out until after all shops are listed. Saturdays are also good for me to drive around and hit up various shops!

I was so hoping that more shops this year meant some of you that live iway out would have something a little closer to you! Linda, I'm glad you are able to participate!

Click on your state on the link to see what is near you and participating.

Ohio has 99 shops this year in it. I made it to 2 after work. I am kind of peeved because the pattern for th eone I liked better is missing the applique templates. I'm going to have to contact the shop or go back there Thursday to see if they can get me a good copy of the pattern.

The shop did email me the missing applique pieces, so I am happy. I did give them a very detailed description of the pattern to show I actually HAD it!

I hit 2 more shops today. Four done, 95 to go in Ohio. Anita mom and I are hitting some Friday.

There appear to be 6 within 3 hours drive of us, in different directions. After I see my ENT on Mon, I may try for the 2 in that town, or maybe not. It is supposed to be dreadfully hot.

Marynel, it runs through September, so even if it is too hot next week, you might be able to check it out the next time you are in town..

I am not getting caught up in this ... still have some to finish from last year.., Infact I need four more licenses from last year so if anyone has any and are not going to use them I would love to buy them from you... I am going to make a shadow quilt and figured I need 50 of the license plates to make the quilt...

I look forward to seeing that. I am not going to even try for a quilt from this, but I would like to see what the 2 venders in our area are doing.
