Hello Jill, this is Cassie. Thank you ever so much for the gifts you sent me. My cat will love the toys, anything that has bells in it gets her excited. I love the fabric you sent me, it is beautiful and will go with the rest of my Asian fabric. The jewelry bag is really pretty and will be used quite a bit, I have a lot of jewelry. I will greatly appreciate the chocolate oranges you sent me and when I have a bigger tree next year I will be sure to hang up my kitty ornament. Thanks again for everything, I really appreciate it.

Detail of the jewelry bag with the pockets in it. Isn't the fabric lovely?

Here are the pictures of my beautiful gifts.  Oh and there was a chocolate bar, but I already ate it!  Thud

Don't look too close at the closeup of the cardinal. There's some dog hair on it because Tessa already loves it and was laying on it.

Mamu, so sorry your gift hasnt arrived yet, Im sure its not far away.

We got home from camping last night to find mums SS, I need to get a photo but Alicia, mum is in love, she says "Thank you so very much, your work is immaculate and the fabrics so very pretty, I have never seen a piece like this before, you are amazing. thank you for the beautiful reindeer ornaments and stickers for my scrap booking, I have shared some with Laura and I love the xmas note pad. Thank you very much, you spoiled me and I will write you myself shortly" She is amazed you made it when you are so darned busy in your life at the moment, she will treasure it and loves the card to "Mum" Very Happy

Everyone got some lovely gifts, Mum was so nervous painting the witch for TxMary, she hasnt picked up a brush and painted anything in over 20yrs but knowing how much TxMary loves halloween and witches with attitude she felt she was just right. Bob was very jealous, he loved the sassy witch too!
Joann, glad to see doggy fur on the cushion, that means its loved, so happy you like your gifts.

My SS gift from Louanne is WONDERFUL!  Thank you so much Lou!  I'm sorry it took me a few days to post it....my life is a bit crazy right now!

Lou made me a wonderful pincushion/thread catcher....so so cute and it will be a treasured addition to my sewing room...right by my machine!  If you look inside the threadcatcher...there is a Carolina Wren!  That is the state bird of South Carolina....what a neat personal touch! There is also a lovely folded star mini quilt....I will enjoy finding a place for it where I can smile and think of you Lou!  Thank you for a thoughtful gift!  Hugs hugs hugs!

Just LOOK at the wonderful mats she made me! ...and also sent me Laura's calendar!

She designed them using wildlife that roam about in Montana...

first up is the BEAR

Second.. is the FOX

....then she knows how much I like Halloween...so she designed and made a couple of mats with a Halloween flare....

...the Witches Hat is made with mice running about on it... I have some of the same fabric!

Isn't it just the coolest??? like like like

Thank you so very much Helen!!!!!!!!!! medal Smitten hug08 BIG hugs

Your so very welcome Mamu, I tried to incorporate a little of everything you like in your gift, some batik on the wildlife place mats, some wildlife (but not wolves or cougars that are a pest to you, TxMary suggested not using them, thank you Mary Ann!!) I had fun looking up what was in Montana and deciding who to draw. I used some aussie gum leaf fabric so they have an Aussie aspect too. Then halloween, how could I not do something halloween related. I know you like things that are easy to pop away adn useful so I figured place mats for you and John (when he is home) might be the answer. You could use them as toppers or anything. So very glad your parcel arrived and hope you enjoy a year of local scenery hug08 Happy Xmas tree tree3

I'm having trouble copying the picture from the gallery, so I'll just describe the beautiful gifts I received from Shemoocows....a Birds of Australia cup, Merry Christmas pattern by Fig Tree Quilts, a necklace, quilted tote, and a small book that has felt pages inside with pins and needles! Wonderful gifts, Shemoocows, I appreciate it so much. Your thoughtfulness provided a welcome relief from my sad week.

Memaw thanks for posting the photo!

Jill, lovely gifts the birds on the cup are rainbow lorikeets, very noisy and chattery birds, they get drunk every summer from pigging out on over ripe fruit and fall out of the trees. When I vet nursed we had tourists every day bringing the blighters in "Oh I found this bird, I think its sick, it was laying on its back with its legs up in the air" then Id tell them it was drunk, we had a 'drunk tank' out back we put them in till they recovered and then let them go lmao lmao Silly birds!

Golo....so glad you like your bag....I learned a lot making it....just don't let anyone look in side haha. I'm sure it needs a good ironing after being crammed in that box! The pin magnet I saw on Pintrest...made myself one as well.  It's just a giant covered button minus the wire loop with magnets hot glued inside.  Fun and quick!

TxM, yes the chain is beautiful. I will wear it as a necklace since I can't see well enough without my glasses to ever walk around without them. By the way, I suppose you and/or Cassie have seen my mistake with the jewelry bag. I don't think it will cause much problem. I used the same pattern to make DGD a Frozen purse for Christmas. I should have made hers first as a practice one before making Cassie's.

Who is still waiting on their gift to arrive? Please put your name here so its easier for Alicia to keep her list up to date.

Laura/Puma Girl - knows hers is on its way Very Happy
Shemoos - knows hers is on its way Very Happy
Betweens - ?
Marian - ?
Kany - ?

Have I missed anyone?

* Judy in Oregon is out of action with 3 broken vertebrae, she is out of contact as a result so not sure if she has received hers, will try and find out.
